This camera does a lot of things I need for action and videos.

This camera is great for a beginner or an expert! I’m not a beginner but would consider myself no where near the expert level...it’s a great camera with a lot of settings but also has an easy to use auto mode.

Shots beautiful portraits using 50mm lense, on scene mode.

Have always owned Nikon cameras. Wish the Best Buy salesman would of gone over more of the features on the camera. After having it for a little while I'm getting more comfortable with using it.

Great camera, but the additional cost isn't justified over "older" cameras. The main difference is the touch screen. Other than that, it's the same processor, same lens, and you are only saving a few grams in weight. Save a couple hundred bucks and check out the D5300

Nikon is a great product. Sensor went out on my d70 since it is an older dslr used the cost of repair to offset the cost of this camera. All my lenses work on the d5600. Snap bridge works reasonably well.

Great camera with all the bells and whistles. This is a good intermediate camera without paying professional price. Has full swivel lcd screen which helps for those though to get angles.

If you've never owned a DSLR before or if you've only owned an entry level DSLR then this is a worthy upgrade for you. There are enough focus points to make nailing focus every time just a bit easier. The articulable screen is a very nice touch as well for allowing you to capture images from all angles.

It is a decent great starting camera, would recommend it highly. Of course there is higher end cameras out there but for starting and getting better, this one is ideal.

My wife was very happy with the camera so... being a gift we will need a little extra time to review. Thank you, Dennis S.

Pictures are great - clear with great color. Granddaughter loves her Nikon. We are going to Disney later this summer and I'm looking forward to using the camera while there.

Great camera for beginners. Little tricky to learn how to use but watched YouTube videos & learned within a couple days.

Love you can move the screen in the position you are taking the photo.
