Owned this for about 5 months and I am fairly new to DSLRs, I am already in love with SLR photography. Main reason for me to go to 7200 was for its ability to shoot picture and videos at low lights... from review I had read a lot but in real, its not disappointed me so far.

I upgraded from the D5200 to this camera. At first I was nervous because it is definitely more complicated than the 5200. But it only took a quick look through the book and now I’m very comfortable! Definitely not a camera for a beginner though.

I am not a full fledged photographer, but I am an artist that shoots reference photos and documents video. This camera has been great to work with. This is actually my second one... I bought one in addition to the D5200, and realized immediately that the video and image were noticeably different (I shoot video from two angles). So, I sold the D5200 and put the money towards a second D7200 camera body. The only thing I would point out is that it is not a full frame camera. I know that full frame is professional level, but this camera fits my needs well.

This camera is great for a wide spectrum of photographers. If you have the money, it is a good buy for new enthusiasts who want to spend a lot of time taking pictures. It also is a good "fit" for those who are pursuing at least a part-time career in photography.

I was originally planning on purchasing the Canon EOS 80D but after discussing my intended usage with the salesman at Best Buy, I went with this model. I'm glad I did! Great pictures in varying degrees and types of light. Crisp sports shots without blur.

I am a 40+ year owner of Nikon camera's and lenses. I have finally combined the best optics with the best body by Nikon and my results have been amazing! More of my finished photos reflect what I had in mind when I was visualizing the shot in my minds eye!

I selected this camera because it was lighter and smaller than many of the cameras in this class. Great image quality and adequate settings and features for general photography in a relatively compact size make this a great camera for taking on trips.

We upgraded from a Nikon D5100. Shutter speed is excellent and MP increase is a plus as well. One of the big differences is having functions buttons instead of having to go to the menu and pick through options. The wifi capability is great.

I bought this camera as an open box item and it was missing the body cap and the eye cup but other than that it was in perfect condition. I have used the 7100 for a while so this was a minor upgrade. The 7100 is the camera of choice at the Walt Disney Company where I worked for a bit. I figure they did enough research to call it good.enough for me. It is their main stream camera for most of the Disney Photo Imaging people who take guest pictures in all the parks. Some use the Nikon D4s but it is way out of my price range. The 7200 has about the same features with a little more ISO available and has built in WiFi which is useful to get a picture from the camera to your phone in a hurry. Would recommend this camera to any serious shooter. Quick focus and 6 Fps.

As a Canon fan, I was not planning to buy a Nikon DSLR. However, after reading the specs, the Nikon 7200 won out. It's a great all-around camera that takes outstanding photos so far.

For photos this camera is great! You can go from fully automatic to fully manual. This is great if you're new to DSLR. The auto focus modes are quite advance with multiple options. Nikon quality is second to none in my opinion.
