Not English Version - Beware!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased my camera mid October for my husband for Christmas. First mistake! Christmas items must be purchased starting November 1st. The camera came with a Spanish user manual. When I called to ask for an English version, the C/S rep was more concerned with finding reasons why they could not help me. First, I bought it October 17th, then she explained the return policy. I told het AGAIN that I just wanted the English manual so I could actually use the camera I spent $1,000 dollars on. This camera needs a manual unless you are a photographer. You will need to refer to it a lot, not just occasionally online so a download is not useful. Don't buy if you can't read and understand Spanish! Who knows if the camera is any good, we can't use it!!!

Posted .There are a couple of ways that Nikon can assist you.
If you purchase your products from authorized Nikon resellers - of which Best Buy is one - you should be getting an English version of the manual for the D7200. If this was purchased through a non-authorized dealer on the Best Buy Marketplace - then that makes it more difficult.
All is not lost however, you can download the pdf version from here: http://downloadcenter.nikonimglib.com/en/products/197/D7200.html
Plus you can contact NikonUSA support at 1-800-645-6687 and ask for the English version of the manual.

Best Camera for the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from a D70S to the D7200 and I am thrilled I did it. The pixel count is far superior and the color contrast ratios are excellent. The low light quality is amazing. The video quality is also exceptional. The sound quality on the video is OK when using the built in mic, so I use a connected boom to capture better audio. Keep in mind this is not a full size sensor so it uses DX lenses. If you use a FX lens on it you are effectively increasing the focal length of the lens. This has never been a problem for me and the quality of the images are the best in the industry.

I Believe
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So i will try to make this short. First DSLR 10 years ago was a nikon d40... used it for about 2 weeks and just never felt good to me... so then i switched to a canon 40D and fell in live with... fast foward to 2 months ago. I went to the store and purchased a 7DMKii, Used it for a few weeks and i shoot everday and i just never felt like the pictures where top notch and with a 300MM canon L Prime lens i expected sharp pictures... So after many calls to best buy and there sales man telling me that nikon is way better i finally broke down and grabbed the Nikon D7200 and paired it with there 200/500 lens. My first impressions where not good.. But after taking a few days and getting myself out of my routine with canon i can say that i am please with the picture quality... I thought that i was going to miss the 10 FPS that the canon has and the nikon does not but i really dont. 1 more thing to look at is the canon is 1500 on sale and the nikon is 1050 on sale so your getting better picture quality and more from your camera for less and more mega pixels.. The reason i gave it 4 starts is for the FPS, Other wise it would have gotten 5 I tried to upload a picture but they are to big

Great in most lighting conditions
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In most lighting conditions, the camera is quick to focus and shoot. However, It hesitates to focus in dim lighting and with background lighting. Body is solid. Battery life is great. Controls are easy to access. Wish the screen tilted out.

Awesome Camera
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this camera. I've had the D3300, D3400, D5500 and now the D7200. While I'd like the D500, at my skill level I can't justify the price, to myself, or my wife. The D7200 is an amazing camera. The ease of use is amazing and speed at which I can change setting to what I need is light years ahead of what my previous cameras offered me. I've added the battery grip and an extra battery and this thing is a beast. Anyone looking for a prosumer level camera, this is it.

Top DX Camera
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are questioning if you should buy this camera or wait for whenever a replacement comes out, don't hesitate to buy the D7200. You won't be disappointed I promise. Continues shooting in high is just enough frame rate to capture what you need. With this size sensor you're just not going to get much more frame rate. This camera is geared towards a portrait photographer that sometimes shoots sports. If you are going to leave this camera in auto mode it won't help you get better images, no camera can do that in auto mode. The bracket function and options are a decaffeinate upgrade from my D5300. I like that you have 2 programmable function buttons, and the real reason behind buying this was for high speed sync. Button placement is easy to learn and a great help to not have to go through the menu all the time. I just love this camera and is now my full time camera, and my old camera is my secondary.

Great Camera
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from the D5500, which I gave to my wife. I wanted a Pro body crop sensor camera and this what an awesome pick! I was debating on getting the D750 or D500 but after doing my research, it wasn't worth it. Glass is everything so I'll just buy a lense and save myself money!

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LOVE this camera, don't get me wrong. Used it 2 weeks though and now oil spots are showing up on my pics. Another lady told me hers was doing this after about 300 clicks. I put mine on M, cranked the f stop up to about 22 or so and took a shot of the sky. BAM, black spots all over the place and it's not dust. I think I remember the 7100 had the same issue so I'll wait a bit and try another. It's a super camera for sure
