This is an advance amateur camera. The body/lens combo provides a very useful zoom range. Nikon has the advantage that you can use most of their old lenses. They may not work in automatic mode, but there is a lot of F body bayonet mount lenses on the used market

Really like the full frame. Camera build very well, a little on the heavy side however easy to get used too, and based on the extra weight you can tell it is constructed well

So I needed a quality camera as I write a regular column for a magazine and do all my own photography. I did my homework and settled on the Nikon 750. Previously I used the discontinued Nikon 7000. As usual Best Buy had a killer deal on the camera and multiple accessories. Into Best Buy I went and the sales person sealed the deal. I absolutely love this Nikon platform and plan to by additional lenses. I will only consider Best Buy as I make my purchases.

Definitely a step up from my aged Nikon D80. Still learning its many features, but it is rather intuitive.

Great step up or backup for pro

I am completely happy with this camera lens combo. It easily handles the bulk of my photography needs. The sharpness is amazing, and when I need to crop and enlarge something there is no loss to quality that your eye can perceive. Frankly, I was stunned when I discovered the HD quality video was truly better than I expected. If you are stepping up the quality of your equipment or want a good reliable backup as a pro, this is the one to get. You have the quality only a 35mm CMOS can give you and the FX lens takes full advantage of it. Professional quality results with an amateur's budget.

I started off with a Nikon D3200 and learned all I could about it. I became comfortable with how the camera worked and so I decided to get a better camera and chose the Nikon D750. It's been perfect so far. The quality of the photos, the options available on the camera, the built-in wifi, all has been perfect. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone who has a pretty decent handle on how DSLRs work. The 24-120mm lens that came with it is not a bad lens at all. You get nice and crisp pictures. I'm definitely very happy with my purchase!

I'm a novice photographer and started with a Nikon 3200, purchased this one for the full frame. My quality of pictures are better as I learn the camera. This lens is very heavy though. I love the camera and all of its functionality. Wi-fi works well when connected to my cellphone. I used the cellphone as a trigger for a couple of photos I had to be in. ;). There is a slight pause when it uploads but nothing inconvenient. Really good camera.

I know this camera has been available for quite sometime, but I haven’t been able to justify the price compared to my skill level. I would have loved to bump up to the D850, but my wallet had a different idea. Going from d5100 to this was wonderful. Read any halfway competent in depth reviews for specifics on the benefits to decide if it’s for you and what you want, but just know that this camera is amazing. Kit lens is awesome, too. Can’t wait to upgrade my glass collection to really take advantage of this thing.

This camera is one of the best probably for really hardcore enthusiasts. Obviously there are more professional cameras beyond D750. But if you looking to go FX (Full Frame) after DX (Cropped) this is the good direction, if you are a Nikon user. With a set of good lenses, that is if you have any, this can do some gold. The most notable improvement that you can note is the low-light photography. Also, the lens that it comes with is a significant improvement for 4f lens, truly I was impressed. Not cheap, but real good upgrade for FX.

I am really pleased with the build quality, ergonomics, and picture taking ability of this Nikon camera. It hangs nicely in your hand with the big grip. The 24-120 lens that came with this is very flexible. I already had some Nikon telephoto dx lenses that work with it in cropped mode. All I had to buy was a nice Nikon FX prime 50mm and I had everything I needed. This camera does a great job and gets 5 stars for overall value.

What's not to like about D750? It does everything I need it to do and then some. High ISO is stunning and the dynamic range is almost on par with my D800, which is saying a lot. For the working professional, I'd strongly suggest taking a look at the D750.
