    • Image Sensor Size: 35mm Full Frame (36 x 24 mm)
    • Effective Pixels: 24.3 megapixels (The actual number of pixels which make up the viewable image.)
  • General
    • Brand: Nikon
    • Model Number: 1549
    • Product Name: D750 DSLR Video Camera with AF-S NIKKOR 24-120mm f/4G ED VR Lens
    • Color: Black
    • Product Set: w/ 24-120mm Lens
    • Camera Model Family: Nikon D750
    • Digital Camera Type: DSLR Camera with Lens
  • Imaging
    • Image Sensor Type: CMOS (CCD and CMOS are the two main technologies used in image sensors. CCD, the older of the two types, turns analog light signals into digital pixels. This conversion happens without distortion, resulting in high-quality images. Newer CMOS sensors use transistors at each pixel to move electrical charges. CMOS sensors are typically less expensive, but also require more light to create distortion-free images.)
    • Image Sensor Size: 35mm Full Frame (36 x 24 mm)
    • Digital Zoom: None (A digital zoom is accomplished electronically, with no adjustment of the camera's optics, and no optical resolution gained in the process. The existing data is not enhanced or added to, merely displayed at a lower resolution, thereby giving an illusion of an enlarged image.)
    • Low Light/High Sensitivity: true (High sensitivity digital imaging devices are designed to work in low light conditions to produce a high dynamic range image.)
    • Image File Format(s): MPEG-4 (Standardized software format(s) of storing digital images. The type of format chosen for capturing and compressing the image can determine quality, level of detail, and storage space required.)
  • Focus
    • Autofocus: true (Allows the camera to automatically focus through the lens, rather than by adjusting the lens manually.)
    • Eye Autofocus (Eye AF): true (Automatically seeks out and focuses on the subject's eye and holds it as the camera and subject move and as the photographer shoots at high frame rates.)
  • Exposure Control
    • Shutter Speeds: 1/4000 - 30 sec. (The length of time the shutter remains open when the shutter release is activated, expressed in fractions of seconds. The longer the shutter is open, the more light that is able to be captured by the camera sensor.)
    • Minimum Aperture: f/4 (The smallest opening of a lens, typically expressed in f-numbers. The larger the number, the smaller the aperture and the less light that can enter the lens. A smaller aperture creates a larger depth of field, which keeps both foreground and background in focus.)
    • Maximum Aperture: f/4 (The limit to how wide a lens can be open, typically expressed in f-numbers. The smaller the number, the larger the aperture and the more light that can enter the lens. A larger aperture creates a shallower depth of field, helpful for keeping subjects in focus and blurring background details.)
    • Minimum ISO: 100 (ISO is the measurement of a camera image sensor's light sensitivity. When there is plenty of light, using the lowest ISO setting available will typically result in a higher quality image.)
    • Maximum ISO: 12801 (ISO is the measurement of a camera image sensor's light sensitivity. In low-light environments, using a higher ISO setting helps to capture a sharp, bright image.)
    • Brightness Control: true (Allows the camera to adjust the brightness of a captured image for optimal exposure.)
    • Burst Mode: true (Also referred to as continuous shooting. This feature captures multiple shots in rapid succession.)
    • Self Timer: true
    • Self-Timer Delay: 20 seconds
    • Shooting Modes: Movie mode, burst mode, manual mode (Exposure modes employed by the photographer to control the optimal aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and other settings for capturing specific subjects/scenes. Examples include Aperture-Priority, Macro, and Manual modes.)
    • Panorama Mode: false
    • Scene Modes: Aperture-Priority, Manual, Programmed auto with flexible program, Shutter-Priority (Exposure modes with predetermined optimal settings for capturing specific scenes. Examples include Landcape, Portrait, and Sports modes.)
    • White Balance Modes: Auto (2 types) , Choose color temperature (2500K–10000K) , Cloudy , Direct Sunlight , Flash , Fluorescent (7 types) , Incandescent , Preset manual (up to 6 values can be stored, spot white balance measurement available , during live view) , Shade (Settings that calibrates how the color white is rendered in an image/video, reducing the appearance of unnatural contrasts caused by various light sources.)
    • Effective Pixels: 24.3 megapixels (The actual number of pixels which make up the viewable image.)
  • Lens
    • Lens Mount Compatibility: Nikon FX
    • Lens Type: Standard Zoom
    • Minimum Focal Length: 24 millimeters (The minimum distance between the lens and the image sensor that allows the subject to be in focus. The shorter the focal length, the greater the area of scene captured.)
    • Maximum Focal Length: 120 millimeters (The maximum distance between the lens and the image sensor that allows the subject to be in focus. The greater the focal length, the smaller the area of scene captured.)
    • In-Lens Image Stabilization: true (This feature helps reduce image blurring from camera motion. Lens stabilization means an element within the lens moves automatically to counteract detected motion.)
    • Lens Series: Nikon AF-S (The product group that the lens belongs to, based on similar shared features.)
    • Lens Model Number: 2193
  • Flash
    • Flash Modes: Automatic, Off (The flash feature emits light to increase the brightness of a subject in dimly lit environments. Common modes include Auto and Red-Eye Reduction.)
    • Integrated Flash: true
    • External Flash Mount: Hot Shoe (A cold shoe is a mounting point on top of a camera to securely attach a flash unit or other compatible accessories. A hot shoe is a cold shoe with an electrical connection that insures communication and synchronization between camera and accessory.)
  • Display
    • Display Type: LCD
    • Screen Size: 3.2 inches (Size of the screen, measured diagonally from corner to corner.)
    • Screen Resolution: 1,229,000 Dots (Screens come in a range of resolutions (measured in pixels, horizontal x vertical). The higher the resolution, the greater the picture quality.)
    • Viewfinder Type: Optical (A viewfinder is the part of a camera (or attachment) that allows you to see and focus a scene in frame. Optical viewfinders let you view the scene directly through the lens. Electronic viewfinders display the image on a screen in its approximate final form.)
    • Touch Screen: false (Touch-screen devices make navigating more intuitive. Using a touch-screen display, you can do things such as tap to select, hold and drag to move items, swipe to scroll, and pinch to zoom.)
    • Varying Angle Screen: true (The camera's screen can be flipped out and adjusted to rotate, tilt, and/or swivel.)
  • Video
    • HDR Mode: false (HDR Mode uses multiple photos taken at different exposures to add more dynamic range to photographs. HDR technology displays content with greater contrast between bright and dark, resulting in clearer and more lifelike images.)

Q: Does this have Nikon USA warranty or is it gray market?

A: This D750 Lens Kit is sold by Best Buy. Best Buy is an authorized Nikon USA reseller. Best Buy does not sell Gray Market (imports) products. This has a Nikon USA warranty.

Q: are lenses from my current digital nikon camera interchangable with the latest models?

A: The lens mount on the D750 as well as on your NIKKOR lenses from your current Nikon DSLR are compatible. It will depend on the lenses that you have, what functions are available on the camera with the older lens attached. The D750 is a DSLR with a full frame. If the lenses you own have a DX designator on them, you will see a crop window in the viewfinder as those lenses are made for a Nikon DSLR with a smaller sized sensor.

Q: Can I use the speedlight sb28 with Nikon d750?

A: Yes, the Nikon SB-28 can be used in non-TTL auto and manual modes as well as repeating flash when used with the Nikon D750 DSLR camera. Rear-curtain sync is also available when the camera is used to select flash mode on this speedlight. To learn more about speedlights and DSLR compatibility please contact Nikon Support.

Q: I currently own a Nikon D5300 and have a few lens I want to make that they are compatible with the D750. Two are the AF-S Nikon 85mm1:1.8G and the other is 70-200 f/2.8. This will also tell me if I need the camera with the lens kit Thank you!

A: The Nikon D750 DSLR camera is completely compatible with AI, AF, AF-S and newer E-type lenses. As long as any of the lenses you currently have are one of these types they will work, and be fully compatible with the D750 camera body. The D750 camera also has a limited compatibility with AF-P type lenses. To learn more about lens compatibility check out the article in the following link: http://www.nikonusa.com/en/learn-and-explore/a/tips-and-techniques/which-nikkor-lens-type-is-right-for-your-dslr.html

Q: Any word from Nikon as to when the D750 will be available again?

A: It is now available with a reduced price. Not sure why the price is down

Q: Would this lense perform well for portraits?

A: Depending on what kind of portraits you're taking...yes. Typically you want a fixed 50 mm lens for standard portrait pictures because the quality is a lot better then a lens that has a range of apertures you can change. But this lens is perfect for so many different things and a standard portrait lens should be a purchase you make after you get a lens that can take multi purpose photographs.

Q: The lens that come with this camera is it a FX lens?

A: Yes, the provided lens in this Nikon D750 DSLR kit is an FX-format lens. The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-120mm f/4G ED VR FX-format lens delivers amazing image quality at any aperture or focal length and is optimized for FX-format cameras.
