I upgrade after years of using a D200. The D750 is the next step in FX image capture. I am really enjoying the capabilities of this new camera.

The D750 is durable, quick, and powerful. 10/10 recommend. A bit of a learning curve moving from the D5200, but well worth it. Couldn't imagine going back.

The Nikon D750 is an incredible camera. From build specs to image quality, there are incredibly few cameras that can beat it especially at this price point. I've had it for approximately three days now, and this is my real world review. Before I start my review, I would to point out if one is going to shell out over $2,000 for a camera, one should be aware that this not a camera for beginner photographers. Yes, there is an auto mode and other scene modes. Yes, it is a professional camera built into a semi-pro body. But to bring out the full potential and appreciate the depth of this camera, one should have an in depth knowledge of photography. With that said, here begins my review. Build/Handling: The Nikon D750 is a sturdily built with a mixture of carbon fiber and magnesium alloy. Carbon fiber is an incredibly strong material and will not yield unless put underneath incredible pressure. Rest assured knowing the camera body will not crack if you accidentally bump a wall with it. The articulating screen is also well protected and for people worried about the cable breaking with the screen out, Nikon has taken special steps to ensure it will not unless one physically reaches in and tears it out. The handgrip is nice and deep, and should fit for the bill for the majority of users. Weight wise, it is very light, but the 24-120mm lens is not. Know that if one attaches this lens to the body or other heavier pro grade glass, the camera will tilt forward. Weather sealing is admirable on this camera, and a light mist or deep cold will not affect it, but try to keep out of potential downpours. There are reviews stating this camera could go out through a hurricane and survive. Maybe it will, but why take the risk? Also, the Nikon warranty will not cover rain damage. Image Quality: Absolutely stunning. Even when shooting up to 12,000 ISO images were clear and crisp in both JPEG and RAW format. To get the best out this camera, I would highly recommend shooting in RAW and using Lightroom or Adobe Photoshop for post processing. Colors are accurate and spot on. With good glass, one will never be disappointed. I was shooting downtown in some pretty poor lighting, but this camera kept up to the task especially after post processing the images. Even in bright sunlight, it was very difficult to take a photo and have it be overexposed. Is this the camera for you? I'd write about about buffer speeds, handling, video quality, etc, but there are scores of reviews for this camera online written by photographers who have had years more of photography experience than myself (and I have a decade). This camera is excellent for all fields of photography. It is a full frame camera, and yes one will get higher quality images than an APS-C camera if the photographer knows what he or she is doing (hence not a beginner's camera). If one is willing to pay the extra money, go for it. This camera is worth every penny.

Great full frame sensor camera and the kit that Best Buy sells is a great value! The built in Wi-Fi is great compared to the barely usable externals adapter for other Nikons.

I was considering the D7500 and D750 as an upgrade to the aging D7000. The 7500 would've been great as it's a more recent model but the full frame lured me into the 750. My only concern was the lack of a faster shutter speed on the 750 topping at 1/4000 but its just a step slower than my D7000. It's still a huge leap of an upgrade for my family event shoots.
