The camera is really exceptional. If the display were really touch and truly flexible, it would be a 5-star camera.

I just bought item. BestBuy now has 15% restocking fee. Not 100% sure this is the one I wanted, but it was on sale. I will re review after I try the Camera. I feel the restocking fee is very high at 15% and open box discount is 10%. I may have to shop more at B&H or Amazon.

The Nikon D750 is a versatile and well-regarded full-frame DSLR. With its 24.3MP sensor and EXPEED 4 processor, it delivers excellent image quality and good low-light performance. The tilting LCD screen and robust build add to its appeal, making it suitable for various photography styles. However, as of my last update in September 2021, it’s worth considering newer models for the latest features and technology.

Best "pro-sumer" full frame DSLr from Nikon

This is simply one of (if not) the best full-frame DSLRs from Nikon. Nice balance between cost/price and features. Offers many of the features of the higher-end D810, but at a price point between the D610 and D810. I would recommend this for intermediate-advanced photographers (although it is easy enough to figure out for a novice after reading the manual all the way through and finding where everything is). Kit lens (24-120mm) is OK. Not the best, but not the worst either. Get this kit, and a nice 50mm prime, and you're pretty much set. Maybe a longer-zoom lens like a 70-300mm to add to your camera bag, and you pretty much have all major focal lengths covered. Camera is a bit heavy (heavier than the D3000/5000-series. I have smaller hands, but this still feels comfortable (D800-series is just too heavy for me, and too much money). Excellent low-light performance. Only issue I run into every once in a while is that shutter tops out at 1/4000 second, but this maybe a handful of times per year out of several hundred shots per month. If you're considering the D610, get this instead. newer technology for a little more. Unless you're a pro, I'd not consider the D810 unless you can justify the extra $1000 price tag. The D750 hits a nice sweet spot for most people (pro and hobby) at this price point.

Great Full-Frame DSLR for the advanved user

The Nikon D750 has a great feel and it's performance is amazing. The high ISO performance on this camera is insanely good. I have no issues pushing this thing to ISO 12,800 when needed. The 51 autofocus points are dead on and I don't find myself needing to use the center focus point and then recompose to get sharp images. The surrounding focus points are dead on even in dark situations. I've used the Canon MK III's extensively and the auto focus performance on any Canon, in my experience, is nowhere near as fast and precise as the D750. I shoot events as well as my kids (who are 7 and 10) and the 6.5 fps burst mode is more than enough to capture a cool sequence of movement. It's a little bit of spraying and praying but can provide a cool 3 or 4 photo sequence print that would look great on a wall. The HD video on D750 is tack sharp, clean and beautiful for your everyday family moments and gatherings. If you're a weekend wedding warrior this camera will definitely provide great looking footage, however, I must admit that the ISO performance on the Canon 5D MKIII's is far superior to the Nikon's. So, depending on your primary use you may want to consider the Canon 5D MKIII. Nikon's ISO performance has always been superior to Canon's on the still image side. Canon, however, always out performed Nikon's ISO performance on the video front. So, really, consider what your primary use for the camera will be and go from there.

Awesome camera and worth the expense

I love this camera and recommend it to anyone looking for a FX based body. The bundled LENS is a perfect fit for a PRIME all around lens. I did pickup the Nikon 50mm 1:8 AF-S lens to round things out. I am still getting to know the camera but there are so many resources out there to help you get the needed knowledge. I am struggling with the video in terms of keeping focus on a moving object but I am thinking that it's just a matter of learning the camera and it's focus features. Bestbuy did a great job at the time with a few bonus extras and I also get the $ back in points so they were the best choice for me. I suggest buying the camera from a good known source such as BB as I hear lots of nightmares buying unknowably international versions for less in the US at other online retailers. I for one want to be able to get support should I have any issues with the camera. I have heard some chatter about lens flair when shooting towards the sun (why would you do this anyway?) but I have not seen this happen while using the camera so far. I think folks that bring this up either do not own it or maybe have a Cannon and are jealous maybe? PROS - Size compared to other FX bodies, picture quality and features CONS - Price, but hey you get what you pay for :)

WOW!!! WHAT AN UPGRADE from D7000

I am not a photographer, but I can tell you this camera is such an upgrade from a D7000 and probably a D7100. I cant believe the pictures I can take in near darkness and the noise it totally usable. In real world everyday use I took pictures of my kids trick or treating with no flash with the included lens!!!! If I try to do that with my D7000 I would have so much black noise its terrible. This is definitely the new low light camera at an affordable price. I also love that I can send the pictures to my smart phone right from the camera!!!! This is Fantastic!!!

I have a D7100 DX that takes a lot of great photos. Started thinking about a full frame and had several very nice lenses I could use on DX or FX. I was also interested in a camera with similar functions so I did not have to relearn all the settings and buttons. After a lot of research, and money, bought the D750. Spent a lot of time comparing images of identical subjects with both cameras and comparing side by side. The D750 was the clear winner. I still have my D7100, my old friend, but found a new friend with the D750.

The image quality of the D750 is great of course. I upgraded from D7100 which I loved to D750. I found big difference regarding low light capability. Over all I love this camera.

    Amazing Full Frame Camera

I have owned a number of Nikon DSLR's; D70, D200, D300s. My favorite has been the 300s. Great focus system, rugged, taken 10's of thousands of photos with no issues. But I wanted a full frame and ability to shoot in low light. The D750 does this and is much better than I thought it would. Again, excellent focus system, ability to shoot asa of 12,000 with little or no noise. I have other zooms, but for traveling it is well matched with the 24-120 zoom. One camera, one sense.
