    Although other choices abound, as a user of Nikon DSLRs for decades, I have continued with the D780, and it does not disappoint. At once intimately familiar in the hand and packed with new and updated features. This is now my tool for still and motion picture photography. Just buy it and from Best Buy!

    Best of both worlds. I get to use me f mount lens’s on a traditional dslr body but get a taste of mirrorless. Low light ability of this camera is great! Focus is fast and even more accurate in live view mode. This camera is more than enough quality for a hobby photographer.

    The D780 is probably priced a little bit too high for what it is. It's a D750 with a few updates, and that camera body is kind of old, as well. I would say you're much better off getting a Z Series Nikon for less money. They're lighter, and have a EVF. The optical viewfinder in this camera is simply outdated for being over $2K just for the body.

    Nikon D780 is a full frame camera body. Excellent for mounting on a stage for close focus imagery. Wireless features are most useful.
