Fantastic lens, especially if you only can afford one lens with your purchase. It is razer sharp, with incredible contrast and minimal to no flaring.

This is a great "all-around" do-it-all lens. Well, almost all....kind of lacks on the long end, which is why I ended up going with a Tamron 70-180 f2.8 G2. In addition, it doesn't have VR, so using it on a DX body like a Z50 / Z50II isn't the greatest experience. But honestly, for $999 (sale price), I could see this being a great happy medium solution for someone who just wanted a slightly larger aperture without having a huge / expensive lens (just make sure it's a FX body, as they all have image stabilization built into the body).

Very Impressed with this lens. As someone who already owns the "professional" 2.8 glass, I was looking for something lighter and more travel friendly. This is truly an S class lens. The image quality is outstanding, every bit as sharp as the far more expensive 70-200 2.8 and 24-70 2.8. It covers the focal range I most often shoot without having to change lenses, a big bonus in windy dusty conditions. It takes standard size filters and it has programmable function button which I set to image review. It doesn't let in a much light as the F 2.8 glass, but it gets the job done.

This lens is an excellent lens in its own right. It’s also a great upgrade to the 24-70 f4 without compromising quality while gaining 70-120mm in range. This lens produces better sunstars, better bokeh, has a dedicated focus ring that is separate from the control ring and a function button. It doesn’t collapse (like the 24-70 does) so it’s always ready to shoot without needing to extend first. It’s sharp throughout its range and outperforms its older F mount counterpart. The only slight downside is price and weight, but that is too be expected.

Amazing lens. I've used Nikon F series for a while and this lens with the Z5 easily outperforms the photos I used to rave about. Only complaint is the glare cover - poor design, it falls off easily.

Opted for this over the 24-70 kit lense. It has great optical quality and good reach. The lense hood is very nice. Overall it is well built and i have yet to find a weakness.

Amazing standard zoom. I have always felt a 24-70 to be a bit short for my style. This lens is my favorite addition to the z mount
