For those who know, George Tipton was music arranger for Harry Nilsson's earlier albums, running from 1967-71, pre-Nilsson Schmillson. He arranged "Everybody's Talkin" and "Me And My Arrow", which would be the songs most people would know from that period. Tipton also wrote and arranged the theme songs for the TV shows Soap, Benson, It's a Living, I'm a Big Girl Now and Empty Nest, as well as providing incidental music for TV shows, and music for movie soundtracks. He also arranged Jose Feliciano's "LIght My Fire". The "Nilsson By Tipton" CD is an enjoyable listen, not as strong as Nilsson's music, but still pleasant. If you're a Nilsson fan, you might enjoy this one.

George Tipton was Harry Nilsson's arranger in the early days, and this CD is a nice collection of Tipton's instrumental versions of Nilsson's early work.
