Ninja Coffee bar
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An excellent product! Ninja coffee makers performance is exactly what I was looking for. Can make a single cup ora full pot. Bonus is you use your favorite flavor and you are not limited to the flavors available in a kcup.

great product with many options
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product performs well. The brew is a bit slower than business class Keurigs, but the coffee and tea is not burnt and feels like a more "thorough" Brew. Cold brew and taste differences in choosing rich vs classic are evident.

Make a cup or a pot! Hot, cold brew, or iced!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to setup and use. Love that you can make a cup, mug, travel mug, half carafe or full carafe. It’s versatile with hot/cold/iced settings and also has a milk frother. I won’t go back to a regular coffee pot!

Great features , so-so coffee.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit has some great features. We loved the tea making feature. And the single cup feature was also very useful. The issues we had with it were: 1) The coffee wasn't hot enough when the cycle was complete. I normally have to wait a minute or two before sipping my coffee, but with this I could slam the whole cup immediately, if I wanted to. 2) The thermal carafe didn't keep the coffee hot for very long. There is no heating pad on this unit. Which in theory is great. No burnt coffee. But if the coffee is not hot enough in the first place and then the carafe allows it to cool off too quickly... that's a horrible combination. 3) And lastly, the coffee was only so-so. We tried many different combinations of settings and amount of grounds. But it was always way too light or way too bold. In the end, if you're going to spend this much on a coffee maker, it better at least make a decent pot of coffee. We ended up returning it.

Ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was super excited to get this coffee pot. But after only several months don’t think it was worth the money. It does not warm very good and a lot of the coffee and tea stays in the filter part.

Just what I was looking for
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in the process of looking for a replacement coffee maker when I spotted this one. I’m not overly impressed with normally disposable items like toasters and inexpensive coffee makers, but this Ninja model is upscale and pretty cool. First off, it’s an attractive unit. That important since it will be sitting on our kitchen countertop year-round and someone I know hates clutter on ‘her’ countertops. This rates high in my book! Accompanying the Ninja is a thorough owner’s guide, plus a recipe book that has a good number of coffee and tea recipes for both hot and cold variations. Included with the unit are two different filters - one for coffee grounds and the other for tea grounds. I thought the Ninja was intuitive to use, too. There are two knobs on the unit’s front. One is a selector for determining which size container the coffee or tea will go into (i.e. standard sized cup (9.5oz) and up to a full carafe). A second selector knob lets you choose what style of coffee or tea to make – with styles like Classic, Rich, Over Ice, and more. There’s also a Specialty setting if you like making cappuccinos, espresso, and lattes. All the accompanying recipes show how much coffee and tea grounds you’ll need for a given recipe. As a nice addition, the Ninja comes with a measuring spoon that secures to the side of the unit. Above I noted that a standard sized cup is 9.5oz – which is how much fluid will be dispensed into the cup if you select a Classic brew. A Rich brew dispenses a bit less, at 8.7oz. If your cup is too small, it will overflow. Be aware of this. Speaking of cups, it has a fold-down cup holder that positions smaller cups closer to the drip basket. I’m a wimp when it comes to too much coffee, so I typically limit how much coffee I use when brewing a single cup. And yet, I’ve taken to the Rich setting even though it calls for more coffee than I’m typically used to using. The flavor is very good. Unlike my now deceased coffee maker, where the hottest cup of coffee was a little hotter than tepid and I had to cycle it through the microwave to warm it up, this unit pushes out coffee that is steaming hot. So use caution and make sure you don’t burn yourself. And unlike other coffee makers that have a built-in hot plate to keep the carafe warm after brewing, this Ninja comes with a thermal carafe instead. Thus, no built-in hot plate. For me, not a problem. The thermal carafe has done a great job keeping things hot or cold as needed. Just screw the top closed so the internal temperature stays consistent. Works like a charm. I’ve never used a frother wand for whipping milk or cream, but this unit has one built onto the side. Easy as pie to use and, quite frankly, has your guests believing that you know what the heck you’re doing. I like that! All in all, I very satisfied with this unit.

Great coffeemaker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was used to a French press, so this thing had a lot to live up to. It’s actually pretty nice. The “rich” brew is pretty close to French press flavor and the classic is good enough for my wife. I wish it had a couple more options but overall it’s pretty nice.

Ninja coffee maker
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s working very well for us, it doesn’t over flow when making full pots of coffee like our previous coffee maker tended to do.

Great coffee maker
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been a great coffee pot. Only thing I would change is to put some sort of sensor on it like our previous ninja where the maker won't brew if a coffee pot is not where it should be, makes quite a mess, but you only forget once!

Smart, Functional and Great Coffee or Tea
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best coffee maker I have used. It also will steep tea. It is very simple to use and that is one of the most important considerations of a well-designed coffee maker. You can choose your own coffee of course and we chose to grind the coffee before each carafe was made. The taste is marvelous and my wife declared that she doesn’t need to get the expensive coffee brews from a well-known chain because this machine makes better coffee. It is not cheap but it has the internal circuitry that makes it so easy to use and so functional. It also has separate filters and baskets for coffee or tea. This is very important, someone at Ninja was listening to customers; as you don’t want to make coffee in something used for tea and vice versa. If you want to interrupt the brew to pour off a cup you can stop the machine with a button and then restart it after you pour your quick cup, another feature where Ninja was listening to customers and implemented a feature many coffee makers don’t have - wonderful. The system also recognizes whether you have the coffee or tea basket installed and modifies the selection panel - very nice technology. You can purchase the unit with a glass carafe or a double walled stainless steel which I have. The stainless steel does cost more but is worth it – it is so very nice and keeps the brew hotter over time. You could also brew into a thermos or a mug if you like. Safety point, Ninja says their glass carafe is fine, but not to use other glass carafes that may not take the heat and this is to be expected. You can make cold or hot brews. You also have a swing out frother that works great with hot or cold milk. We used skim milk and it frothed very well, but you can use any type of milk. This frother does not heat the milk but I see that as a plus as it just takes 20 seconds to heat your milk in the microwave and then use the frother. The arm on the frother twists off nicely for cleaning, another well done design-point. You make your selections of hot or cold brewing type. Then just select the amount of coffee you want and hit a button, it will customize the brewing to make exactly what you want – nice. It also comes with a handy measurement scoop that attaches magnetically to the side of the machine. I thought that’s nice, but my wife was super pleased with this rather simple accessory and she is more the coffee maker, so that’s great too. I definitely recommend this nice and smart coffee maker.
