A: Hello ChickadeeAD, We would like to inform you that the Ninja Hot & Cold 10-Cup Coffee Maker will still produce steam; however, not as much as before. We recommend that you prime the system prior to first use. This is done by running two Full Carafe brew cycles. If you live in a higher altitude, you will also need to calibrate the system. This is done by filling the reservoir to the max fill line with water, and then press the Drip Stop and Tea buttons, at the same time, until the clock begins a 2 minute countdown. With this being said, we still recommend sliding the machine out from under your cabinets while brewing. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team
A: The basket slider is getting stuck. Open the basket and work the slider by hand to see if it’s sticking. If it is, spray some cooking spray in the slider and work it back and forth until it frees up.
A: We are happy to assist you with this. We would like to inform you that you will need to enable the Delay Brew each day you want to use it. With this being said, the time will default to the time used the last time the Delay Brew was set.
Q: Can you set a timer on this system? Set brew at 6am?
A: We are happy to confirm that this system is equipped with a delay brew. This allows you to set the brew type, size and time you want the brew to begin, within 24 hours.
Q: How do you take it off the tea setting
A: Turn knob to select coffee selection
Q: With no burner, does the karaf keep the coffee hot enough?
A: Biggest complaint is the carafe not keeping coffee hot. It does not keep the coffee hot long compared to other coffee makers. By two hours, it is getting cold and by three hours needs to be put in the microwave.
