This is not an inexpensive coffee maker, but then it does a whole lot more than our previous cheap coffee maker. If you're looking to make some fancy coffee and teas at home, then I think you'll like this system. Ninja makes some great food processors and other products, and this appears to be no exception. You can read all about the features, so I won't go into all that detail. But here are some things I like about it. It's a nice looking system that fits well in our kitchen. It has a handy little lip around the bottom that's easy to grip if you need to move it around the counter. I also like that the water tank is removable so you can take it to the faucet to fill it. My favorite feature is the stainless steel insulated carafe. The one downside is you can't easily tell how much coffee is left in it, but it keeps the coffee hot without having a hot plate underneath the pot. No more worrying if we shut off the coffee pot. Also, no more breaking the carafe while washing it which has happened more times than I can remember over the years. Finally, I like how it brews the coffee. It appears to steep the grounds for a little bit, drain it into the pot, steep a little more water, drain it, etc. When I used the same ratio of coffee scoops per water as my old coffee maker, the new brew came out much richer. I also brewed some green tea bags and it steeped those perfectly. I might actually get some loose leaf tea and try that now that this system seems to work so well. I have yet to try the milk frother, but I like that it spins to froth rather than using steam like an old espresso system we had. I guess the steam is authentic, but it always seemed a little dangerous so we hardly used it. I have a feeling we'll get more use out of this one. The recipe book that was included has some fun recipes to try. The single brew latte or mochachino might be just the ticket on a cool fall day. The lemonade coffee--that I'm not so sure about. But the booklet is nicely done with great pictures. In summary, sure you can brew run-of-the-mill coffee in a $20 coffee maker. But if you want to have some fun, make some fancy coffees, and maybe impress your guests then this system is what you need to take things up a notch.

I love the Ninja brand and I especially loved the multiple functionality of this machine. My family and I made use of it the first few months but the novelty of it wore off and we found ourselves resorting back to using an electric kettle for tea and our old espresso machine. The machine was a jack of all trades in the sense that it could fulfill most of our coffee and tea needs at home. However, a master of none as the quality of the tea and coffee made with this machine wasn’t there for us and we felt like our “old school” methods worked better.

I had an older model and bought this to take to my home in Brazil. I love that the presets remain whether making coffee or tea.

It is a beautiful addition to my kitchen. Keeps the coffee hot for hours. Haven’t used the foam option yet. Coffee tastes good.

The coffee taste delicious and very simple to make. Would’ve given 5 stars but the thermal cup takes is a downer. It does not keep the coffee hot because the lid stays open. Good idea, but not effective.

Bought this as a gift for my girlfriend and she made me some specialty brews and it was delicious. She absolutely loves it!!

While I enjoyed this coffee machine when I first bought it, it degraded in quality quick. I only recommend this machine if you plan to use the frother, tea filter, and single serve OFTEN. The pitcher does not keep heat worth anything, making the big pot useless. The coffee grains need to be thick, otherwise you get sludge in your coffee. I would look recommend looking at other models that has a heating element for the glass pot and uses a paper filter (and not permanent). The permanent filter is also way more annoying to clean than the paper ones.

Best coffee machine I ever bought. Coffee stays hot and fresh for hours in the tin carafe. Totally worth the money.

Been wanting last year's version and glad we waited for 2.0. This model is an improvement over the previous in every way.

I live my Ninja coffee bar, only thing I wish it did was warm milk when it frothed. But otherwise it’s the greatest!

Not up to The standard of other Ninja products. It worked fine for about 2 weeks then developed major leaks where the water reservoir and the coffee maker. We have sent it back to Ninja and are waiting on a replacement. Luckily we hadn't thrown out our old coffee maker. I am disappointed that Ninja would refuse to send a replacement until they received the old one back.
