DO NOT BUY A NINJA PRODUCT!

Never again! This is the second Ninja coffee maker I purchsed. We thought we "loved" them but, both have broken just outside of warranty and Ninja does not stand behind their product or care about you at all. Both broke just outside of warranty (only 1 year) and all they can do is give you a 30% off coupon for the exact unit and ship in 7-10 days. Why buy a $160 coffee pot that only last a year when I can buy a $40 one that will last 20 years. Don't be fooled like I was.

This item was returned. I wanted hot coffee, not warm coffee. This thing is weird, it will brew coffee first, and after a minute, then turn on the hot plate, and even then at a low heat setting, the coffee is warm? The other stuff I didn't try to use, because I couldn't get to make hot coffee in the first place. At this price point, this went back to the store and picked up a 40 dollar Mister Coffee, and I have hot coffee again.

    Coffee Tastes Better

I've only been using this for a few days but I LOVE it. I know it doesn't make true espresso, but as someone who has been making espresso-like espresso (using espresso beans always) using a french press and moka pot this feels like a step up. I always hated cleaning both of those items. What a pain! This is easy to use, easy to clean, water is measured automatically. So far I've made lattes and flat whites and they taste delicious. The frother works well and is really easy to use AND to clean (plus!). I love that I can make just a cup right in the mug. I also made iced cappuccino which was great as well! I highly recommend this if you love fancy drinks as well as straight up coffee. For me, the true espresso machines with drip coffee integrated were price prohibitive. Also, this takes up very minimal counter space. It's not very deep, the water canister removes easily so you don't need to pour water from the top. And the frother stores neatly in the back of the machine.

I wanted to love this. But after going through 3 of them all of which lasted less than a year before they stopped functioning properly. All 3 times it was the cleaning function. No matter how many times I’d clean it, it’d still get clogged up and I’d have to clean it again. Very frustrating for the price.

We have had this coffee maker for 6 months now. We have been sooo disappointed. It consistently leaks all over the counter, it never makes a full pot of coffee (which the pot is small to start with).... and coffee does not stay hot very long. This is the most we have ever spent on a coffee maker and we have never been more disappointed. I am baffled by all the positive reviews.

Like many Ninja products, this coffee maker does not disappoint. While my husband drinks plain, black coffee, I am drawn to all types of coffee and coffee drinks. This machine seems to fill the bill for us. I can make a huge pot of black coffee, froth some milk, or even just make a single up of flavored coffee. The machine seems well-built and sturdy and I like having all of the options available for 'extra' coffee styles. I live 20 miles from town, so we have no coffee shop, no barrista. I think what I will enjoy most is the single cup feature. I had toyed with a K-cup type machine, but that seemed expensive to operate and all those empty cups! Not to mention the water just hanging out in the tub and molding! It really just took a couple of minutes to make a single cup, so the K cup is not faster. PLUS I decide how dark or light the coffee is rather than have to buy the specific brew cup. Keeping the water tank clean will be very easy on this machine. I also like the permanent filter this is included. Overall, I recommend this to someone who wants to have some easy to access options, but doesn't want a separate machine for doing them. It's just some extra features that don't take up extra space! You can please multiple people in the house at one.

Just over the year warranty and it stopped brewing. Tried all the tips and hints videos with no luck. Contacted product support and they said "Sorry, some internal electronics must have failed. It's out of warranty, but you can buy the same model for a slight discount." Why would I take another chance on this faulty product?

I was super excited when I purchased this coffee maker as it had a "Frothing" arm and offers a wide range of cup/carafe options. There always seemed to be an icky sludge in my coffee and it just never tasted as good as some less expensive options I've had in the past offered! Save your money!
