I ordered this Ninja Foodi online a couple of days ago. When it arrived, it turned out to be used and refurbished. There were tiny scratches and stains on multiple parts, suggesting it was used, and there was sesame seed inside the device. So, they didn't even clean it properly. I returned it for a refund. Extremely disappointed in BestBuy.

I love to cook. I also love to get the newest gadgets for cooking. Air fryers. Ovens. Sous vide immersion circulators. Pressure cookers. Slow cookers. Dehydrators. I really do have ALL of those things. Key being all of them are separate gadgets. Is my kitchen big enough for all of these things? No. I typically switch machines based on the menu. Pack it up, take it to garage, switch out machines. Rinse and repeat. Now with this Ninja Foodi, I have to figure out where I can donate my machines. Right when I got the package, I was taken aback by how big the box was. Inside you will find the cooker itself with "crisping" lid attached, the separate pressure cooking lid, a removable 6.5 qt nonstick pot, the air fryer crisp plate, broiling rack, and recipe books. Hold on to the recipe books. They are actually golden. The unit itself is a lot bigger than I thought! However, given the amount of machines it is hopefully replacing, I did not mind the trade off. The build quality seems excellent and sturdy to me although only time will tell how long it will last. I have to say when I first was trying to use it, I felt intimidated. With so many functions, how to even get started?? There is a bit of a learning curve for sure. However, once you get the hang of it, you’ll start experimenting with your own recipes. Everything is digital so it’s really comfortable to use. I’m just going to quickly review the cooking functions and performance. The 11 functions are 1. Pressure cooking, 2. Steaming, 3. Slow cooking, 4. Yogurt, 5. Sous vide, 6. Air fry, 7. Bake/roast, 8. Sear, 9. Broil, 10. Dehydrate, and 11. Keep food warm. I will admit that I have not yet experimented with making yogurt and dehydrating as of this review but I am definitely planning on experimenting sometime soon! Homemade yogurt and jerky here I come. In regards to the other functions. I can wholeheartedly say they worked amazing. With the pressure cooking function, I have made rice and tenderized meat. I have made Korean beef short ribs which turned out amazing. I also cooked wings (and air fried afterwards). The pressure cooking worked amazing! You do have to use the separate lid but that’s a no brainer. The other functions are self explanatory. I steamed vegetables. I slow cooked some pork shoulder. I used the sous vide to make some steak and chicken. Air fryer worked awesome! I baked some cookies. I seared some steak. I broiled pizza. Obviously, I kept food warm. As long as you are not limited by the space, I can confidently say that the functions worked amazingly. What are some of the “cons?” I really have small things to nitpick at. For the air fryer function, it does not have the traditional handle and removable basket. This does make it inconvenient when taking things out. You cannot just tip it over to get the fries out. However, this is a minor inconvenience given the versatility of these things. Another thing to note is the size. 6.5 qt is bigger than you think in terms of pure volume. For a 2-4 member family, the Ninja Foodi is more than enough. Especially if you use the broiling rack, then you can have multi levels of cooking. For things dependent on volume, such as rice, roasts, sous vide, pressure cooking, etc., I think it is perfect for a small family. However, when you are cooking things like pizza, volume matters less than the actual bottom surface area. I still thought it was perfect for my family but could see how it may not be enough for others. I would encourage people to have realistic expectations when it comes to this machine. You will not be able to cook up a feast for gatherings. I am always hesitant with gadgets that have multiple functions. Being a jack-of-all-trades and master of none tends to be inadequate for me. However, the Ninja Foodi pressure cooker truly does everything well. I was surprised by how well it did everything. Granted some of its functions are really similar like air frying, broiling, baking, and roasting. However, these are distinct functions that I think the Ninja Foodi can perform very well. Even obscure functions like yogurt making, dehydrating, and sous vide make this well worth it for me. I love this huge device. I hope it lasts a while.

This thing is magic. I've used other pressure cooker multi cookers before but this one goes above and beyond. I was impressed with the amount of cooking accessories included to use several of the functions straight out of the box. This is the most straight forward to use of the brands I've tried. Every button is labeled clearly and easy to read so you can get cooking immediately. I love that the inner pot is coated with some sort of non stick coating, clean up from the giant roast as well as the fried chicken was so easy. So far I've used the pressure cooker and the Crispin function. I can't wait to try the dehydrator and my toddler has asked we try the yogurt setting. I don't have a huge kitchen so I love multi use machines, this is going to replace an older pressure cooker as well as an air fryer. This frees up some space in the kitchen and all the accessories can be stored nearly inside. I can't say enough about how amazing it easy to cook a pork roast from frozen to fall apart in 75 mins, especially on busy days with a family. If you're on the fence, give it a try.

Solid, heavy, well-built pressure cooker + air fryer. The versatility is the unique advantage of this Cooker + Air Fryer. Having the option to place the pressure cooker lid on the unit, pressure cook your food, remove the pressure cooker lid, lower the air fryer lid and crisp your food has been a great asset for some meals. Cannot say enough about this pressure cooker + air fryer. All the foods we have prepared have been excellent and with the addition of completing a meal quickly. Just remember to keep an eye on your food when cooking with the air fryer. Does not hurt to raise the lid and look, and that again is one of the nice advantages with the Ninja Foodi. Chicken fried steak cook to perfection and making the gravy in the cooker was quick and easy. Hard boiled eggs quick, easy, and hard boiled just the way we like them. Baked potatoes with a soft fluffy inside and crisp skin, this was done without oiling the skin or wrapping the potato in foil. Had to try the multi-food cooking. Using the Broil Rack I air fried potatoes cut into 1-inch cubes, When the potatoes were lightly browned, I removed the Broil Rack, inserted the crisper plate and placed my hamburger patties on the crisper plate and returned the Broil Rack, with potatoes, over the top of the patties. When the patties were complete, and the potatoes had a nice crisp exterior I removed the Broil Rack and the Crisper plate and made brown gravy in the Ninja. We all said the meal was exceptionally good, nice, and hot, and clean up was a breeze. I have not found a fault yet. I have cooked with a lot of different air fryers and pressure cookers and been incredibly happy with the results however having one cooker to pressure cook and air fry is a great asset and the 6.5 quart works well for us. Clean up is simple and easy. I have never purchased additional cooking utensils to use with a cooker however I have for this cooker. The cooker does such a great job and is so versatile, I know I will use this a great deal. I find I am cooking a lot more food in this one cooker than I have in many of the past different cookers I have used. I have found a difference in cooking times and temperatures, between the Ninja and a different brand air frier that I have been using, so watch your food until you get use to air frying. The only thing better than this cooker is two of these cookers. Well worth the purchase.

Included- Ninja Foodi pressure cooker, Crisper Lid, Cook & Crisp Plate, Nesting broil rack Quick Guide, Owner's manual, Recipe booklet At first look, this the Ninja Foodi Pressure Cooker & Air Fryer looks like many of the other pressure cookers out there. The main body is stainless steel with black lids and display panel. But the special thing about this appliance is that it's designed to use 2 different lids! This Ninja Foodi Pressure Cooker & Air Fryer is pretty much capable of any kind of cooking. The control panel is easy to read and use. The Operating buttons are located along the top and bottom of the panel. There are arrows for Time, Temp, Start/Stop and Power. The Function buttons are positioned in the middle of the display. The appliance functions that you would use with your pressure lid are Pressure, Steam, Slow Cook, Yogurt, and Sous Vide. The functions with your crisping lid are Air Crisp, Bake/Roast, Broil, Dehydrate. There is also a Sear/Saute and Keep Warm function. I also appreciate that the display will show you progress, by using bars when pressurizing, a countdown, temperature or function. To get started, once the Ninja Foodi is unpacked, everything should be washed. Play close attention as to what is dishwasher safe and what needs to be hand washed. Next, the pressure cooker should be tested. Put 2 cups of water in the pot, lock the pressure lid, seal the valve and set the Pressure function for 2 minutes. When it's pressurized, the countdown begins. The Foodi will beep will it's done and you can continue by releasing the pressure. I had some trouble getting the pressure lid to lock into place at first. It took multiple attempts for it to lock. One trick I figured out was pushing down and twisting at the same time. I'm not going to lie. Storage for this is a big deal to me. It can make or break it for me, in terms of full satisfaction. As more and more appliances come out, I only have so much room to store kitchen appliances, even in my fairly large kitchen. Because there are 2 lids, it becomes more of a hassle to store this because they don't nest inside each other. I set the cook and crisp plate inside the pot, then the broil rack, close the air fryer lid and set the pressure cooker lid on the top. I think this way takes up the least amount of space but you will still need a lot of height clearance to store it this way, about 16". But with the 2 in 1, you wouldn't have 2 full appliances to buy and store. The Foodi should still save you on space. As for the cooking, it seems to operate comparable to my Instapot and my Chefman Digital Air Fryer. I don't think one is better or worse than each other. So if you're in the market for both a pressure cooker and air fryer, definitely consider this one. It saves you on space with the 2 in 1 aspect and will cook your food just as good as expected. Ninja is a great brand. I have other Ninja products and they're high quality and very reliable. I'm confident my Ninja Foodi will be used for many years.

So far we have been greatly impressed with the Ninja Foodi. We have used it to make a completely frozen turkey breast with vegetables, hash brown casserole (air crisper), and a fresh pork lion with vegetables, as well as reheating fries. Everything turned out great. The instruction booklet is very helpful with how to use it correctly for each function as well as how much time and liquid needs to be added. The controls are easy to read and to understand. The pressure cooker function seems to work just like my Instant Pot Duo Mini but is twice the size. We need to experiment a little more and learn to use it more but so far it looks like it might be a complete replacement for our Instant Pot and possibly our air fryer.

I had heard many people raving about their Instapots, but then along came one of my friends that had recently gotten a similar product by Ninja. Thus, when I finally opened one of my own I was absolutely amazed by everything it was able to do and the efficiency behind it. First upon opening the box the size of the thing was intimidating as it is definitely on the larger size. However, for everything it is able to do it still saves a big amount of space in my kitchen. The other item of note was how easy it was to set up and get started. The added cookbook gave me some ideas for some things I wanted to try first. Naturally, though I had to try out the air fryer or "air crisp" option because that is definitely the latest craze. I definitely was not disappointed though as both the french fries and "fried" chicken came out great and especially the chicken was still extremely juicy which maybe can be related to the "tendercrisp" aspect of the product. Then as far as slow cooker/pressure cooker abilities these also lived right on up to par as I tried multiple soups and types of chicken. The other odd function I did try was the dehydrator to which I tried some bananas to which I was pleasantly surprised though this is one feature I am curious to try out a little more as it seems like there are a lot of possibilities. Overall, this product seems to truly do it all. There are multiple kitchen contraptions rolled together into one here and the number of possibilities seems to truly be endless. I would definitely recommend this product to nearly anyone whether it be the individual with a short amount of time for cooking, inexperienced cook, or even those experienced cooks stuck in a rut that are looking for some fresh and new ideas.

So when I got the opportunity to get the Ninja Foodi pressure cooker and air fryer, I was a tad bit hesitate to give it a go. I have had several small cooking appliances in my time - I had a crockpot, an instapot with all the accessories, and god knows what other countless things I've donated over time. They were all fine and dandy and as much as they were supposed to be time savers, I always found that was never really the case. I always felt like the food was dry and overcooked (probably my fault, but no matter how many times I tried this is what happened). I preferred to cook on the stove and in the oven where I could watch to make sure I wasn't over cooking. I decided to give the Foodi a chance, as every other appliance I have from Ninja has been amazing. I can say in no uncertain terms that the Foodi did not disappoint. The first thing I made was a rotisserie chicken; it allowed me to use the pressure cooking function as well as the crisper/air fry function. It turned out amazing. I was so happy with it and how moist the chicken stayed. My kids even liked it and they don't like anything. After that I decided to make one of those Italian, throw-everything-in-the-pot-and-hope-for-the-best dishes, with the backup plan of attempting chicken nuggets if it was gross. Well, I can say that I never got to use the the air fryer for chicken nuggets that night because the dish turned out great. I haven't used all the settings yet, such as the sous vide, yogurt or dehydrate, but I am very excited to. I can say that you will not be disappointed in the Foodi - it a great appliance that does what it says properly.

If you are in the market for an air fryer and have asked any friends for recommendations, the overwhelming response was probably the Ninja Foodi. And rightly so! This thing is awesome! We currently have a Ninja Air Fryer and an Instant Pot. The Ninja Air Fryer is a staple item in our kitchen, typically used to heat up appetizers for a family party or chicken nuggets and fish sticks for the kids. I’ve recently attempted to air fry an Uncrustable and the results were pretty darn good! But I digress…. The Instant Pot was a great addition as well, but had to be stored in the closet due to lack of space. And because of that, it got used less and less. Step in the Ninja Foodi. We immediately got rid of both the Air Fryer and the Instant Pot because the Foodi can do all they could and more! When the box first arrived, I saw the look of disdain on my wife’s face. The box was HUGE! Where were we going to put it? And with the pot being nearly double the size of our current Air Fryer, how were we going to deal with even less room on the kitchen counter? But her concerns were squashed when the Foodi was unpacked and placed in its new home. The footprint for the Foodi is just slightly more than our original air fryer! We were amazed! The only thing additional was the pressure cooking lid, which can either be stored directly on top of the Foodi or easily stored in a cabinet. Positives include all of the capabilities that you can read in the overview and specs. But the speed and evenness with which the Foodi works is excellent and the top reason we are keeping this around. Cleaning is also a breeze with the removable pot. With our previous air fryer, the cooking of items tended to be a little uneven, but the Foodi has remedied this. Just one negative. It’s a little noisy on the air fryer setting. A vibrating hum comes from the machine that we never dealt with in our previous model. But it is negligible and worth that small inconvenience for the capabilities that this device provides. So if you’re in the market, and I assume you are if you’re reading this, bite the proverbial bullet and buy this machine! I can’t say enough about the Ninja products we’ve owned in the past and the short but positive sample size we’ve had with the Foodi!

Ninja Foodi It wasn’t too long ago that I became acquainted with air frying food. Having a whole new world of cooking opened to me was and still is exciting as I continue to discover new recipes. However, the size of my air fryer was small and is unable to provide the space I needed for dishes that serve more than one or two people. Being familiar with the Ninja brand, I immediately jumped at their Ninja Foodi Pro Pressure Cooker + Air Fryer. Ninja makes great cookware. Much like the world of air frying, I was not exactly familiar with pressure cooking. I’ve heard of the term here and there but being a novice cook, I didn’t have any hands-on experience since I didn’t have the tools to try pressure cooking. The Ninja Foodi allows me to further my air frying adventures while also allowing me to delve into the culinary world of pressure cooking because it not only does both but so much more as well! So Many Options: As I mentioned before, my previous air fryer was cute regarding serving small portions. The Ninja Foodi is 6.5 quarts. This is a BIG deal in terms of size. I’m not having to readjust portions because the food isn’t fitting into the frying basket. I’m not having to add more cook time because the items in the basket were cramped and didn’t cook all the way through. To put it simply, size matters. The Ninja Foodi not only allows me to cook more but I discovered that the food is more accurately cooked due to the heating coming from the bottom as opposed to my previous device heating from above. If you’re cooking something like potstickers, this is a big deal. The Ninja Foodi is so much more than an air fryer though. It’s a slow cooker! I like slow cooking foods but I don’t do it as much because I would have to dig out the slow cooker, clear a space on the counter and then proceed. I’m lazy sometimes and I don’t want to go through all the motions just to set up an appliance. Now, I have a slow cooker before me whenever I want. This is great for those times when I want to slow cook meatballs in sauce for meatball sandwiches. You can bake with the Foodi as well. Let me tell you, baking with this is incredible because there’s no waiting for preheating. Prep and bake. I think we can all relate to wanting to save as much time as we can when making meals. And having something like the Ninja Foodi allows you to use your actual oven for the large items. It’s all about being efficient in the kitchen. The Ninja Foodi also dehydrates food. This is a big deal because I have a food dehydrator and it’s a multitiered pain to use and also takes up my already limited cupboard space. I think that once you try a couple of dehydrated recipes with the Foodi, you’ll find yourself coming back to try new ones. And you know what else you can make with the dehydration mode? Yogurt. No joke. You can make yogurt with the Ninja Foodi. I haven’t attempted this myself, yet but I look forward to trying it. Pressure Cooking: Have you ever discovered a way of cooking that made you wonder how you lived without it? That’s exactly what I was feeling when I used the Ninja Foodi pressure cooker. Not being too familiar with the idea of pressure cooking, I looked up a recipe for a delicious chicken and I went to work. I used a 4lb chicken for this dish. Thirty minutes later, my taste buds were brought to life with the most tender and perfectly cooked chicken that I have tasted at home! I’ve cooked whole chickens before in my standard oven and thought they tasted just fine. But upon tasting what the Foodi pressure cooker produced, I think I was lying to myself with those past chicken dinners. There was this PERFECT crisp to the chicken that I made all while the inside was this wonderful balance of juices and tenderness. You will discover what I am talking about for yourself. The Ninja Foodi allows you to steam, broil, and sauté if you should desire as well. There are so many options that are conveniently all in this one cooking device. It’s Ninja: If you’re not familiar with Ninja products then allow me to praise how EASY it is to clean their products. Nothing sticks to the cooking pot of the Ninja Foodi. It cleans up easily with soap and water. Ninja makes durable products that you see and feel in person. The Ninja Foodi Pressure Cooker offers a variety of ways to expand on your ever-expanding cooking creations. If a novice cook such as myself can create remarkable dishes with this then I can only imagine what a more seasoned chef can produce with it.

This cooker is without a doubt AMAZING! You can't find a more versatile tool for your kitchen. It pressure cooks, slow cooks, air fires, and so much more! The foodie replaced my separate air fryer and pressure cooker! Simply plug it in, choose which lid to put on top, select the mode you want, and presto, good food is moments away! I love the versatility of the ninja foodie! Its simple, intuitive push button controls are so easy to operate! My all time favorite cooking mode is the air crisp mode. I throw chicken wings or thighs inside the foodie and out comes delicious, crispy, healthier food! You cannot go wrong with the foodie!
