I have been so impressed with the Ninja Foodi. Often a device that claims to do multiple things doesn't really do any of them well. Not so with the Foodi. Cooking with this thing is really easy and the cookbook that comes with it is extremely helpful because it not only has some great recipes, but it helps you see what's possible. This is a must-have kitchen item, especially for those with limited space and/or time for preparing meals.

My wife and I have used a stovetop pressure cooker for many years. Though that pressure cooker is great in terms of what it is supposed to do, it’s awkward to use. So, we were anxious to try our new Ninja® Foodi® 6.5-qt cooker. We began by cooking Ninja’s crispy chicken recipe. We found the instructions clear, and it took only a few seconds to enter the first cooking step pressure instructions. When the pressure phase began we were concerned the Ninja wasn’t working properly because there was practically no noise whatsoever. We figured we had done something wrong like not sealing the device because our previous pressure-cooking experience was that there’s a LOT of steam sound. We fully expected that when the phase was complete and we opened the Ninja that the chicken would be uncooked. We were wrong. The pressure cooking phase worked perfectly. It’s just that compared to a stovetop pressure cooker the Ninja is silent. This was a surprise for us, and a very welcome change! The second phase of Ninja’s crispy chicken recipe is air frying. Like the previous pressure phase, it was simple to setup and start, and it worked perfectly. The resulting crispy chicken was outstanding with tender/juicy meat yet crispy/browned skin. Consider us impressed. The fact that the total time to achieve this was only about 45 minutes is remarkable. The bonus is that it was all done in one device/pot. I HIGHLY recommend the Ninja Foodi!

Already having both an air fryer and a pressure cooker, I thought this would be a nice way to save counter space in the kitchen. And it is. The ninja company is most commonly known for blenders and food processors, but now they're in the pressure and air cookery business. It has a separate removable lid for easy access to the cooking pot, a cook and crisp plate for your crunchy food, but for me, it's all about the stainless steel rack that comes with it. I love making ribs with it. 6.5 quarts is fairly large. It's enough to make a good meal for about 4 people. You have plenty of options when it comes to the style of cooking that you want to accomplish. Air frying became a popular means of cooking crispy foods without the massive amounts of oil it takes. It's also healthier. The unit itself is quite sturdy. The beauty of both pressure and air frying is that once you choose a preset, it will take care of the actual cooking. There's also a recipe guide to help those who are new to either pressure or air frying. This takes a lot of guessing out of the equation. At first, it's a bit daunting, the thought of cooking foods with such high pressure, but once you successfully cook your first roast, or soup, or whatever you desire, it becomes quite easy. Clean up is just as easy. I've tried both hand washing and dishwashing machine, and the nonstick ceramic coated put cleans up beautifully. For me, Ninja has always made high quality kitchen appliances, and the trend continues with the Pro Pressure cooker + Air Fryer. This is a great small appliance for someone looking to make quick meals without all of the extra pots and pans.

We have several Ninja small appliances. This is my favorite. We have the older model and wanted a second one to cook larger portions of food for parties and such. You can read the specs on what this can do as it’s too many to list but it does them all well. My favorite is doing corned beef. In my opinion after using this for awhile the pressure cooking is the star of the show. Roast beef dinners, corned beef, steamed vegetables, chili, homemade soups you name it this does it very well. Baking chicken and other dinners work well also. It does airfry also but for that I would suggest their dual basket air fryer with separate baskets and timers. Really helpful for wings and fries or multiple items. I recommend this to anyone as it has definitely been our go to most often small appliance in our household.

This monstrosity can fit a reasonably sized turkey in here. I love that it is capable of firing so much. I do feel that the size does take up a lot of counter top space (to be expected with a large air fryer or pressure cooker. You will not be disappointed.

This cooker is a piece of junk. We used it a handful of times and the pressure cooker lid and function no longer works. Do a search on the internet and you will find it has numerous issues. Going back to a standard crock pot as it works and last for decades.

DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL!!!!! You can not order any accessories. No Dehydrate Rack No Crisp Basket Absolutely zero accessories!!!!
