Great grill taste minus the charcoal, lighter fluid, smoke and mess! The Ninja Foodi Indoor Grill provides that great grill look, feel and taste afforded from traditional outdoor grilling without the hassle of dealing with the mess that comes from charcoal and lighter fluid, as well as all the smoke and flies attracted to the food. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice to be able to cook outdoors in the sun and fresh air, but there are times when I feel like it’s not worth the hassle. Well, thanks to the Ninja Foodi Indoor Grill, they have taken all of the mess and hassle out of the equation and left all the other elements we have all come to love and enjoy. There are times when I want grilled food that’s healthy and great tasting, but I don’t want to have to make a big fuss about it. I no longer have to compromise now that I own an indoor grill. I currently own other Ninja made and inspired products and I have come to expect a certain level of quality, perfection, and ease of use as a result of ownership. Ninja continues in that same vein with this Indoor Grill. I ordered my Ninja Foodi Grill online to be delivered to my home and I am glad that I did because it is heavier than I thought. It arrived very well packaged which is important to ensure it isn’t damaged going through the delivery process. It is heavier and larger than I assumed it would be, but once I unpacked it I realized that it fits perfectly on my kitchen counter. It appears to be made of quality material that will last over many years of use. The set up is extremely easy. The included accessories have groves that allow them to fit together perfectly each time they are aligned correctly. Although they include items that allow you to gill and cook other items right away, I felt they should have included more items; or at least enough items to be able to create a complete meal (like veggies in the pan, or being able to bake other items). However, they do sell additional accessories if you desire to utilize the grill to its’s full capacity. Nevertheless, the provided accessories are enough for you to be able to cook your family a delicious healthy meal fairly easily. The provided cookbook, recipes and cooking tips are easy to read and very helpful. You’re practically guided throughout the entire process from what to purchase, how to prepare, grill and then serve. This is by far the easiest cooking kitchen item I have purchased since the microwave. It’s important to read all of the instructions for cleaning, and preparation before you begin to use the Ninja Grill. I read everything included before I even set it up. I like the preheat function and the auto on and auto stop features. I simple press a few buttons and the grill lets you know that it’s preheating and when to add your food to begin cooking; the timer stops and resumes accordingly. The grill produces very little smoke and sometimes no smoke at all. But you still get to experience the great smell of grilling and it’s going to make you hungry. I also like that you can check your food throughout the process and can decrease time and or add time until the food is cooked to your liking. I started out with something really easy at first. I actually didn’t grill. I used the airfryer function and made some crispy French fries. It was so easy that it inspired me to try one of the many recipes in the provided cookbook. I then took the grilling to a whole new level, for me, and I made grilled New York Steaks and veggies the next day. I actually followed the cook book and went to the grocery store and purchased items based on the included recommendations and tips. The next day I grilled boneless chicken breast, grilled pork chips the following day and then the day after that Louisiana sausages. I actually found myself having fun cooking things. Every meal tasted really good. I plan to adjust the cooking times and try different seasoning for other meals to see how it changes the taste and if it makes it juicier or drier. The Ninja Grill isn’t without some issues. When using the included basket and pan when air-frying, I didn’t like the space between the basket and the pan. This grill gets really hot and when you’re placing your food in the basket after it has gone through the pre-heating cycle, it’s extremely hot! There were a couple of times my frozen fries fell on the side of the basket between the pan and the main unit (the unit is way too hot to try to pick it up so you have to choose to leave it there while it’s cooking or use oven mittens to take the basket out and grab the fallen fries (I chose the later). Additionally, I also didn’t like that the basket sits so low into the pan, it makes it difficult to get the basket out when your food calls for you to shake/turn your food over to ensure even cooking. It would be nice to have some handles that lift up or a level that could easily snap up and move up to bring the basket out of the pan. I was concerned that the cleaning process would be messy. But the stainless steel, practically no stick surface was easy to clean. You simple let the unit cool down, which is the perfect time to eat your freshly prepared food, and then set it in warm soapy water to soak or clean immediately. I found that it was best to just let it soak in warm soapy water as anything still stuck to the bottom or the sides comes off easily. In closing, overall, the Ninja Foodi Indoor Grill is the perfect kitchen counter top companion that will have your entire family happy to eat healthy prepared foods that tastes great.

I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my best friend and his wife and they haven’t used the outdoor grill since. Very convenient.
