Q: How much snooker is produced when cooking fatty steaks?
A: Take it from a foodi grill owner. The appliance has set off my smoke detector already. Haha Follow ninjas guidelines to mitigate as much as possible but be prepared certain foods will have a little more smoke that could potentially set off a smoke detector. For me it was trial and error. I tried angus burgers. Too much smoke. Had to air out my apartment. But was able to finish cooking the burger on a lower heat setting

Q: Can it be used as a toaster as well? Can I toast bread and reheat a slice of pizza in this?
A: Yes, it can be used as a toaster as well.
Q: Can the 20 amp breaker stand This ninja foodi 1760 electrical watt?
A: Should be fine. I use mine in a standard 15 amp residential outlet and haven’t had issues. I put my clamp voltmeter on the wire and low setting grill up to high setting seemed to only use 5 amps. I have not used the highest heat setting but I’ve grilled many times. Never had any wires heat up. The plug was always cold after use so no signs of any heat build up from the us. So while I can’t say with 100% certainty. Based on my experience and from the Amps I’ve tested 20 amps is ample. Hope this helps!
A: We are happy to help you with this. We recommend that you use one of the following oils when grilling: Almond Oil, Avacado Oil, Canola Oil, Grape Seed Oil or Vegetable Oil.
Q: Will the food have a grill taste to it?

A: We would like to inform you that the Ninja Foodi Grill does not include a toast feature. With that being said, you can use the Bake function to achieve a toasted finish.
Q: What to use and how to clean the top screen that comes off from underneath the top?
A: Unplug the unit from the wall outlet before cleaning. Keep the hood open after removing your food so the unit will cool down more quickly. The cooking pot, grill grate, crisper basket, splatter shield, cleaning brush, and any other accessories are dishwasher safe. If hand-washing, use the cleaning brush to help wash the parts. Use the opposite end of the cleaning brush as a scraper to assist with releasing baked-on sauces or cheese. Air-dry or towel-dry all parts after hand-washing. If food residue or grease are stuck on the grill grate, splatter shield, or any other removable part, place them in a sink or stack them in the pot and fill with warm, soapy water and allow to soak for a couple hours or overnight. After soaking, use the cleaning brush to clean each part. Over time, the splatter shield front tabs and frame may accumulate grease buildup. Soaking the splatter shield overnight will help soften the baked-on grease. After soaking, use the cleaning brush to remove the grease from the stainless steel frame and front tabs.
