I love the safety of the product that does not start if it is not properly placed on the base. All in all, it is an excellent purchase. This product is worth the money and I recommend it

Whatever you do don’t put it in the dishwasher.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The blender itself works well but - I know the instructions say it’s dishwasher safe but DO NOT PUT THE PITCHER IN THE DISHWASHER! I don’t know what happened but the black portion of our handle shrunk and now the lid won’t go on anymore. Unfortunately we received ours almost 2 years ago as a registry present from Bed Bath and Beyond, so we ended up having to buy a replacement pitcher which costs $80+ after shipping and tax. It’s just so unfortunate that a supposedly good blender would do this. We barely got any uses out of it. Lesson learned I guess.

Read around and noticed its a common problem. If ninja would stay clear of just the bottom being plastic they would have the best blender in the world.

Worthless PRODUCT

The blender, although not very cheap, IS CHEAPLY made NOT worth the money... First-year had to replace the pitcher, the Second year the thing just quit working... Complete and utter piece of garbage...
