What's not to like? It's Gold!

He is constructed of plastic, like all Amiibos and activates features on your Wii U. This Amiibo had been out of stock and unavailable for several months but thanks to Bestbuy, it appears the restock is vast. I still recommend grabbing one if you are considering. Who knows if they will be produced any longer after they run out especially since Nintendo's announcement of the new console.

It's a me, Gold Mario!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once a "limited edition" exclusive only available at Wal-Mart (who unsurprisingly managed to completely botch the March 2015 release), Gold Mario will finally be given the proper release he deserves! Props to Nintendo for reprinting all of the rare amiibo that many were unable to buy on the original release date, even if it is over a year late!
