NES Classic Is Retro Fun!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The NES Classic includes 30 preloaded games and is an amazing and fun way to revisit memorable games from that era. I appreciate that there are some 3rd party offerings such as Mega Man 2 and Gradius in addition to Nintendo's own games. It is also small and can efficiently fit into any media center setup or pack up easily to go on the road. I would recommend controller extensions, the ones included with the system are on the shorter side.

Fun trip back to the ‘80’s
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mini system takes me back to where home consoles all started! It’s easy to connect and easy to use. The game line up is decent, wish they had a few more titles (original Contra for one). I’ve had fun playing it with the kids, something you can pick up and put down quickly and easily. I would HIGHLY suggest getting the extension cords for the controllers straight away as the length of the attached cords is too short to use properly unless you are right in front of the screen. 4 stars only because they could have easily added more titles. If you owned this growing up, I think you’ll enjoy a trip down memory lane. I have :)

Great Nostalgia Trip (with a short leash)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you grew up with a NES, you will love this console. It has many of the games we all grew up with. The HDMI hook-ups ensure that the picture looks better than ever. The interface is clean and easy to use. The only problem I have is the length of the controller cable. Unless you plan on sitting 3 feet away from the TV, the cable is pretty short. Also, if your TV comes with a "game mode", make sure that mode is turned on. That will help improve response time and latency which is very much needed for these old Mario games. Enjoying the the nostalgia trip and, if you can find one, I highly recommend it.

Always trust in Nintendo
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gang, there's not much to say that you haven't already heard or know. This here lil fella has the games that made you if you grew up in the 80's. If you didn't then this thing has the games that are the literal backbone to the games you play and now love. Think of it as the worlds most fun history lesson. Also....THAT SWEET SWEET NOSTALGIC MUSIC! Anyways, Fair price for a great product. Long Live Nintendo!

It's the NES, what more needs to be said?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a miniature replica of the nes (Nintendo entertainment system). This console comes bundled with 30 classic games. The nostalgia is only further heightened when I grab my 10 year old and game together. The wonder that fills his eyes as I regale him with tales of Nintendo championships and 20 bikes in front of the house because all of the kids wanted to lay eyes on Super Mario Bros 3.

Great collection of games
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy everything about the NES Classic. the small design that mimics the original system, the collection of games, and the interface to browse and save the games... All well designed. The controller cable is short, which forces me to have to play close to the TV, but that's how you had to play these games back in the day, so it fits with the overall design and concept of playing a classic system.

great nostalgia trip
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is like a greatest hits from the Nintendo era. There is a collection of great games included, my only complaint is you have to track down and buy a second controller(but there are plenty of aftermarket ones available). This is worth it if you do not have an original nes, it also makes it cheaper to play some of these classic games at some have gone up in price and availability to find.

Awesomely retro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love love love! The NES classic is a great retro console. It is wild how small it is. I mean it is tiny. Yes the cords are short, but I knew that going into it. The game play is just like I remember the NES being back in the 80's. Great selection of games as well. Super Mario 1, 2, 3, Ghost and goblins, Castelvania, punch out, excite bike, pac man, donky kong, mega man, and a lot more. Buy it!

Great starting gaming system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my 9-year old son's birthday as kind of a starter gaming system. He and I both love it. It is fun to show him how to play the games I grew up with. Only disappointing feature is how extremely short the ONE controller cord is. The system really needs to come with TWO controllers and much longer cords. We had to buy a second controller and cord extension. Still a good system.

A great retro experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a retro purist, heck I still have my top-loading NES with dog-bone controllers from 25+ years ago. That said, you can't beat the visual upgrades this system gives with its HDMI out. There's a surprising mix of games included, and for the modders out there, there's plenty of free space to add additional ROMs to the system. Aside from the super short controller cords, this system is nearly perfect.

Great Memories
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this console for my brother in law and sister. They loved it, they took it with them on a trip and had fun when in the hotel room relaxing. Said it brought back great childhood memories and that setup was super easy. Purchased wireless remote controls and they loved them as well. Brother in law said it had games he played as a kid and other he never knew about and enjoyed playing.

Great memories
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So the controller cord is way too short. Otherwise - it’s pretty awesome and lots of fun. Not as good as the original NES but still great, especially for the price!

Almost completely satisfied
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This NES classic is a winner for any nostalgic gamer. Original titles. 8 bit gaming with an HDMI connection. Menu navigation take some getting used to but not difficult. Would give 5 stars but here is why i didn't: Controller cord is short, you need to buy the extension cord unless you'll be located a foot away from the console. Second reason only 4 stars: only 1 controller. If you want to play with more that one person you need to buy an extra controller OR I've read you can connect an original Wii controller (If you still have the cord to connect that). Other than that not complaints about the purchase.

Classic fun
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being someone who witnessed the launch of the original NES as a kid this little system brought back so many memories. I bought this for my kids to play to see what type of games dad grew up playing. The kids love to play the Mario games. Well done Nintendo this is a must for every gamers collection. Best feature is the HDMI hook up.

Love love LOVE this!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What's not to like about this? Playing it takes me right back to Being an eight-year-old kid when I got my first NES. Also, with all the games that come preloaded it's priced amazingly low in my opinion. Only possible complaints would be stock issues and having a hard time getting it to begin with, and that the cable to the controller is too short (though added to the extension for under $10 which is still a great total price)

Great for video game lovers!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, this system was EXTREMELY difficult to find. I was lucky to find it so easily. Second it was a limit of 1 per household, which is understandable I guess. When I took the system out of the package it turns out to be in a very small portable size. Still has the same design just in smaller form. It has a variety of old school games already pre installed! (as advertised) The only down fall was that it only came with 1 controller and super short at that. I have to sit right in front of the screen to play the game. I went an purchased extension cords to make the controller longer. All in all I'd say it's a great system to collect and 60 bucks is not a bad deal.

Amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok I had to stand in line two hours on the day it came out to get it, but it was so so worth it!! I love all the old games. I think it is for sure worth the $60. But honestly I wouldn't pay much more than that. I already had some of the games downloaded on my Wii U, but it was great to have the nostalgia of the old Nintendo console. It is very small, much smaller than I thought. But I love that it is so compact. Get it!

Lots of fun in a small package
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish these were easier to get they would be great for Christmas presents. 30 Classic games packed in to a miniature version of the original NES for $60, that's $2 a game, which is a pretty good buy when you figure they would cost you $2-$6 on a Wii U or 3DS. Biggest complaint is the cord length on the controller. You have a couple options to help with that, get a long HDMI cable or pick up one of the 6 ft extender cables. I went with 1 extra controller and got 2 of the Insignia™ - 6' Controller Extension Cable for NES Classic (the two I received had an extra plastic piece not pictured in the ones for sale at BB, had to remove them to get both to plug in).

Great package for Retro Gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The NES Classic Edition gives you an authentic old school console experience, while coming in a "you have to see it to believe it" size package. The list of games includes many must have titles and they nailed most of it, it would be hard to have all the best games but Nintendo gets close with this list. The emulation is the best we've had for NES and plays the games as genuine as possible while looking great on a modern television. My only gripe are the length of the controller cords. You literally have to use a very long HDMI cable and set the console on a coffee tablet or buy controller extensions in order to be able to play in any practical way.
