This was a great gift to give. It is more of a novelty item compared to modern consoles but can still produce hours of fun and nostalgia.

Aside for the usual complaints about the controllers being short, I would share that my only displeasure with this unit is the auto save feature. Instead of providing an option to save or not to save, the system automatically does it. Seeing that for many games there may not be a need to save anything, an option for this feature would be nice. Overall, the size and playability of the unit and games are extraordinary. For $60 there is so much value compare to close to $700 spend would be for the system and all the games separately. Very happy and very pleased.

The NES Classic is a must-have for anyone who played the original console and also for anyone who wants to share the experience and delight. Scaling these games to modern TV's has been a smooth transition and the controller looks almost undistinguishable from the original. Sadly though, the cable length is frustratingly short so definitely get an extension cord. For all the great nostalgia the NES classic has with it's built in library and ability to save multiple slots for each game the cable length issue can be looked over... kind of. There's a good reason to knock off a star and yell at Nintendo for a glaringly poor choice, but the NES classic is what we've been wanting from Nintendo for a while.

This is a Must have (again) for my old skool gamers. It's small enough yo fit in your hand put packs some serious punch in gaming. However please buy the wireless controller unless you like a foot long corded controller. But this is very fun and you kinda remember where all the secrets or codes to these games.. Just meaning you have a sharp memory like me. Enjoy!

This little gem brings back so many memories of playing Nintendo when I was a kid. All of the games I grew up with are back and I couldn't be happier! If you're looking for an old-school #TBT you must pick this up! FYI, grab either a cord extension or the wireless controllers. The included cords are not long enough for anything.

I love the thing, what most people are saying about is accurate. The controller cord is too short. Input lag can be a problem on some TVs. I recommend using a gaming monitor or something along those lines. This thing is perfectly priced at the $59.99. It is not worth much more than that.

This is a great piece. It comes with a bunch of quality pick NES games. If you are lucky enough to nab one, get a wireless controller. That tackles the major issue of the short cord on the default controller. Besides hitting the reset button every once in a while to switch games, you can't fault the value you are paying for nostalgia.

Not a whole lot needs to be said. Bought this for my wife for Mother's day and she was thrilled. We have had a ton of fun playing through Mario and the other 29 games that come on the nes. Only thing I would say is make sure to buy an extension for the controller because the cable included is very short. Beyond that this has been a huge hit in our house!

This thing is AWESOME guys. 30 classic games (sorry no Duck Hunt). The mini version is the perfect size but the only downfall is the wired controller cord isnt very long. We bought the extra controllers with the extended cable and honestly play this more than the Xbox One

I got this along with the SNES classic in Maryland, when I went to a random best buy to just look around. This is a better value than the SNES, it has more games and is cheaper, but the quality and ease of use is all there. What else would you expect from Nintendo! I can't wait for the N64 mini. You know they're going to make it

The single controller with a 3ft cord is rediculous. I thought I would just pull the system closer but the power cord is short too. We have a single 63' TV for the whole house so this did not work. I got a couple after market controllers with 12ft cords. We then realized the cord is 3ft so you can reach for the reset every time you need to toggle to the main screen to switch games. The game selection is great. The 3 save spots for each game is excellent. It is much like the original system and modern convince has made us critical of some classic fun.

I absolutely love my Nintendo, it has all the games we use to play as kids! If you can get your hands on one, but it! Def recomend it

It's everything I thought it would be! I didn't realize it would fit in your hand- but it does. It comes with an HDMI cable, the unit itself, and one very short controller. You will have to buy an extension and another controller if you want to have 2 players. My favorite thing about it is that you can save where you are in the game now. Nostalgia win!

This is a great little emulation box that stores 30 of (mostly) great games from the NES era. As it has said before my only real complaint is the tiny cord attached to the controller. I do like that you can plug it in via USB to power the box though. These have since gone out of print so if you see one for a decent price grab it before collectors do.

Packed with classic games it is well worth the money. My 2 biggest issues wit the consoles controller. It should be wireless and since its not the cord should be longer. You have to have the console relatively close to your seat. Which also leads to the next issue of the power cable length being to short to have the console close to you. Unnecessary issues that should have been addressed by Nintendo. Comes off as a money grab by Nintendo to try and get you to by cord extensions and accessories.

great games, easy to use, affordable, great value.

Great price for 30 games. I wouldn’t consider them all classics, but most of them are. There are a few I never cared to play that my kids love, so that’s another plus. The controller cable is ridiculously short, but there are some great wireless controllers available that let you return to the main game menu with reset buttons.

Such a good way to relive NES games. The game selection is solid, and has a lot of replayability. The system is very compact. The controller is faithful to the original. Matter of fact you can use the original controllers but it requires an adapter. The main downside to this is the short cord length for the controller.

We bought a few of these as we're very nostalgic people - my wife and I grew up in the 80's and Nintendo is one of the fond memories we have of that period! The games are exactly how they were back then, only no need to change the cartridge out when you want to switch! I do wish the controller cables were longer though!

This System is sweet it’s so much fun the controllers are easy to use plus you can use the controllers on the Wii you and we game systems. There are plenty of games to keep you busy and tons of your favorites. It’s portable it’s easy to use fairly inexpensive and the kids will love it... share your childhood with them!
