CLASSIC system for nostalgia
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s really cool to be able to show my kids how we used to do it back in the days. Had to take them back to the 8bit world to show them how everything began. Game selection is very good and the actual size of the unit is TINY!! Now the cord on the controller? What the heck Nintendo? I mean, they probably figured hey.. we’re gonna make a ton on $$ if we cut the cord length by 2/3!! it’s sooooooooo short it’s not cool. I bought a wireless controller so i can actually sit on the couch and play!!

Brings me back!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife demanded that we buy this when it became available again. It has been one of the best purchases we've made in years! The kids love all the games and my wife and I also love playing it. I would recommend buying an extra controller and extension cords for the controllers, as the cords are only a couple feet long.

Game console is easy to connect.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game console is small and very portable. The price is fair for the product you get. Only negative is it only comes with one controller.

Nintendo: Classic Edition
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Missed out the first time it was on sale. I got it at the midnight sale. Fun for everybody. My husband got one also. Got the long cable to play far from the television plus the extra controller. Easy to connect to the TV. Mario is my favorite game, really takes me back. $60 is the right price for this tiny console.

Great memories
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For anyone who played these games while growing up, this is a must. The games, as far as I can tell, are exactly as they were. The controller cables are very short (probably as they were in the 80's), but it makes it difficult to situate one's self to play. Other than that, everything is perfect.

Great little console of family
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is a great nostalgic console that family and friends can enjoy as they most likely played some of the games that are in the console. It can also be useful if you want to show the younger generations what we use to play as kids. Great games, great price, and lots of fun, BUT only if you find one as they are extremely hard to get.

Just like the old days
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.NES Classic is a cool throwback to the old school 8-bit Nintendo, includes 30 built in games. The selection of games is pretty great, though there are always a few here and there you'd gladely trade out for something else. The big drawback to this thing is the controller's ridiculously short cable. You will need to buy an extension. The games are exactly like the originals in every way as far as I can tell. Some have aged better than others, Super Mario Bros is awesome but, to me, Metroid doesn't hold up like I remember.

Great system!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was raised on the original NES, so bringing back the old system is like heaven for me! It has 30 games, most of which are your standard NES classics like Zelda, Donkey Kong and the sequels to those games. It's very tiny so it doesn't take up any space. The downside is it only comes with one corded controller.

Awesomeness!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am SO happy to finally get my hands on this system. It has a lot of my favorite games and I love how small it is. It is so cute and doesn't take up a lot of space! I wish it had Marble Madness and Paper Boy because those were also my all time favorites. But it plays great and brings back a lot of good memories.

What's old is new again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As expected, this brings all the nostalgia of the 80s/early 90s. The games play the same and look as good as ever thanks to the HDMI upgrade. If you want a quick option over plugging in your original console to. CRT TV, this is it. It's a shame Nintendo didn't intend to make this product a more permanent staple in its offerings.

Nostalgic joy
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love that the system is small, light, and easy to connect. As fun as it was blowing into the old game cartridges to get them to work, it is nice knowing you'll be able to play whenever, wherever you want. Of course there are games that I wish were on here, but it is a good collection.

Great System!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This retro Nintendo system comes packed with 30 games. But please do yourself a favor and buy the 6 foot extension cords as the ones that come with it are not very long. I believe you are able to save up to two games after you’re done playing them which gives the system even greater value. I love it!

Nostalgic Video Gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Blast from the past if you grew up playing the original NES. Great selection of games. Personal fave was Final Fantasy. I finally got to play what started it all. Only regret was that the controller was too short and no second controller. A definite must have if you are looking to play some old favorites.

Nostalgia for your 90s kid
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.30+ games from your childhood. Now you have it available for your children to play, if you let them ;) It is small enough to put into your backpack or in its case (Sold separately) and take it to work. It runs off USB power and pushes video out a HDMI. It is great to have for your collection or travel.

Great Nastalgia
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this tiny little bit of my past. The games are great, they play just as I remember, and the HDMI connection is the best frill for a modern TV. The only things keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the ridiculously short controller cord, and the fact that it only comes with one controller. Yes you can by extensions for the cords, and buy another controller. Your better served buying 2 wireless classic NES controllers; which I did, ran me about $20+ but is worth it.

Great item for travel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think the best part about the NES Classic is how easy it is to use on the go. Take with you and set it up, only need the USB and HDMI connections. I just have mine hooked up to my PC monitor. Whenever I feel like playing, just need to switch over. Classic is so small, it fits anywhere on the desk and is not in the way.

Great but flawed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Biggest gripe. Short controller and you can't find these anywhere. Thankfully I was able to snag one up for my nieces. This brought back a lot of nostalgia and is a great system to introduce kids to gaming. I would of liked to see some more multiplayer games like Double Dribble, Baseball, or Ice Hockey. There is a lot of content here for $60. Would recommend anyone to get it but make sure you get a long cord either for HDMI, mini USB or controller extension otherwise you will be up close to the TV

Impossible to find but Fantastic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I luckily got one of the last shipments here from Best Buy. I personally love it. I wish I could find more at MSRP so that I could find some for my relatives. The games are really fun. The only issue is the controller cables are small, but there are extenders you can buy to make life easier. Great little system
