An amazing little NES that is easy to set up and works fine. I wished the controller cable was a bit longer as it's really short but the games and hours of fun make this a very valuable purchase. However, Please don't pay more than 100$ for this wherever you can find it.

The console itself fits into the palm of my hands, which is great to store away when not in use. Comes packed with Pre installed games that everyone can enjoy and compete for high scores. Only downside is the length of the controller cord which is about 3 ft. So I'd recommend and extension.

...you guessed it. The 3 foot cord for the controller! Such a dumb decision to make it so short. You're either forced to buy an extension cable or a wireless controller. Honestly, other than that, this is a great device. I was a little too young to appreciate the NES so it's cool to finally sit down and enjoy some of the classics. I highly recommend it, but good luck finding one. Jesus, Nintendo, how could you not anticipate the demand for this thing?

The NES Classic is a beautifully-crafted console in that it is extremely easy to use and gives you a chance to relive your childhood classics. Definitely worth every penny. The only flaw I have found is that the controller cord is WAY too short for modern TV setups.

If you grew up in the 80s and had an original Nintendo Entertainment System, you will love this. It's got 30 games, it's plug and play and it's a great little conversation piece. Very unobstrusive yet functional. You will have many hours of fun with this reliving your childhood years.

Pros: great games included. Awesome interface and music. Save states and screen saver mode. Screen effects too like crt mode. Love this. Cons. Really short controller cord. Only can save state by using the reset button. Such a great machine if you can get your hands on one.

All of the old school thrills without the troublesome cartridge load issues when attempting to play your old system. That being said, it offers tons of games, several well-known ones, but far too many obscure titles; yet most are still fun to play and my 7 year old loves them! Get a second controller (only includes 1, and many of the games are 2-player). Great price point for a fun set!

Nes classic is great. The pre loaded games are a decent variety enough to please everyone. Only complaints are having to wait online at 3am to get a system, and how short the cord is for the controller. You definitely need to buy the extension cable or you will be standing in your tv.

A great value with lots of major titles included. Gives you the feel of playing an NES rather than playing an NES title on something else. Games run smoothly and look great. The main user interface when choosing games could be more efficient but it works.

The nostalgia alone made this purchase worth it. The hours waiting in line after it's discontinuation was announced... also worth it. My 4 yr old loves Excite bike... worth it. I'm not sure what I need to say here since I can't exactly sway someone's decision to buy one of these.

Awesome product. Reminds me of the good old days. The only complaint is the controller wires are way too short. But they make 3rd party extenders and wireless options. Easily portable as well as the system is about 1/4 of the size of the original NES consoles.

Awesome way to introduce my kids into Nintendo. Has a lot of games and have had played new games I did not play as a child. The saving gameplay at anytime feature is key. Just wish the controller had a longer cord.

I finally purchased the classic mini NES so that I could share the fun with my daughter. Simple to connect and use. Wish that the cables were much longer but I think you can buy a wireless one to use. Definitely worth the price for some great memories

Nintendo has made a great item. Many great older games put in to one package you can plug into the tv. Controller feels good, like the original, decent price. Cons: Short controller cord A few of the game choices do not make since where some other missed titles would have fit great. Availability was not very good, luckily these rereleased. Great item for a Nintendo fan! Recommend if you can find one.

Picked this up since I remember playing it as I was a teenager, Some of the games are great, others never really cared for. Picked it up mainly for the Mario Series. The game system cords are too short but I set it up on a desk TV so the cords are not an issue. Was worth waiting for after people where trying to sell this system for 2 to 3 times the cost at Christmas. I haven't had a single issue with the game plugged it in and played.

It's hard to believe this NES fits in your hand and plays all the classics perfectly. As most other reviewers have said, the cord is very short that comes with it. You will need to buy a extension. Can't wait for the mini Super NES and the mini N64 to come out later this year!

I really enjoyed playing this old school system that has a new twist, gone are the days of blowing into a cartridge and then hoping the screen doen’ blink still. It’s very compact and packed with so many of the classic staple selections, you can’t go wrong!

Purchased only to play the games I grew up with. Controller cable is extremely short - I recommend getting the extension cable so you don't have to sit on top of your television to play. Controller also is not as responsive as my original NES controller from the 80's. All in all it was a good buy. I'm just glad I purchased at regular price instead of buying from an individual and paying a crazy amount - definitely only worth the $60

Growing up with the NES as my first console, I have fond memories of many of these games. Good selection of games, and the controllers are pretty dead on to the original. Only complaints are: the cords are too short, and it only comes with one controller.

This Nintendo has been so much fun for me re-living my childhood. I can't get enough of Super Mario Brothers and Punch out. If you can get your hands on one it is worth it!
