The nostalgia is unbeatable, there's no denying that. No one will ever be 100% pleased with the gaming selection. There's plenty of games I would have rather seen on here, but for the most part they got the right ones. Some of the "issues" other buyers have with it I do not. One of the more common complaints is physically having to get up and move to reset the system. Thats not a legitimate gripe, thats just being lazy. When you deal with nostalgia-esque products, you take the good with the bad. I don't think this product would have had the same "feel" if there was a giant Nintendo power button in the middle of the controller. The one valid complaint I do have is controller cord length. I don't think its right that an actual NES controller from 1987 has a longer cord then the its 2018 counterpart. My two star deduction comes not so much from the product directly, but more so Nintendo itself. The controller cord length and lack of a second controller are both frustrating. Simply because if you prefer playing more than 4 ft away from the system, and/or prefer to reminisce with an old friend or relative, you're going to be dumping more than $60. Even buying off-brand products, another controller and 2 cord extensions will slap your wallet another $20-$30 depending where you shop. So a $60 investment will be pushing closer to $100 for some people. Which granted I wouldn't get all the games...but I can run to my local retro game store and buy a REAL NES console and 2 controllers for under $100. My second star deduction goes to Nintendo for the SAME exact problem as my first: I bought this console on its SECOND wave of big releases. Why Nintendo addressed and fixed both above issues with their SNES but not this makes no sense to me. They held up production on this for over a year, announced an "official" discontinuation of it, then released more again earlier this year. That gave them ample time to add either a second controller, or cord extension. This system release was handled poorly at the start, but they had a chance to redeem themselves and did not.

Fun Game Set. Small and does not take up a lot of room. It is nice that the games are all included. The controller cord is a little short. I would recommend getting the insignia controller the cord was much longer.

Amazing value if you can find one at retail price, it's got all the classics we grew up with! It's a great game to bring back some childhood memories. Only complaint is the controller cords are way too short, buy an extension cable

For anyone that wants to relive the past games or introduce their kids to old favorites, this is the perfect system. Cheap, good quality, plenty of variety. Only downside is the controller cords are a little short.

Whoever came up with the idea of bringing these retro consoles back should get a raise! this tiny console does bring back memories, such great games for a decent price. Remote could could have a longer cable.

It's great that it had HDMI so you can connect to a flat screen. I would recommend to get extension cables. The controller that Sims with the system is way too short. The games are great, wish it had a couple more.

I think my husband loves it more! We've been using it to reward good behavior and the kids enjoy it so much we've seen a marked improvement in behavior. My only complaint is that it only come with 1 controller and the cord is fairly short. We had to buy cord extensions and an extra controller. Disappointing but that's a choice made by Nintendo.

Great way to have fun again with this console for us oldies. Works great. Just make sure you buy a second controller. Easy to hook up and run. Most games are lots of fun. The good old days once again. A bit easier to obtain now too. Keeps me going for hours and you don't have to push 7 buttons to make things happen like todays video consoles

Really wanted to play Donkey Kong and this system had the original game. Plays like the arcade version and also include a bunch of other games that I used to play as a kid. Lots of fun for a relatively low price.

Games are just like when i was a kid... excellent mini console... only drawback is the cord of the control being so short but its fixable with the extension cord they sell at bestbuy for cheap... worth every cent.

This mini retro console has all the classic games. The Mario games, Punchout, Contra, Tecmo Bowl, Double Dragon all great. I do wish there was an option to add additional games to the console like Blades of Steel or the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle games or Rampage or a baseball game. Also the one controller with extremely short cord is lame.

I loved it! It took me back to my elementary days. Although, I would like duck hunt to be added and a new gun controller as well. It’s a lot smaller than the original and has 30 games predownloaded to the system.

Definitely worth the wait, definitely worth the money and I would NOT hesitate buying it again. Brings back so many memories in a smaller package. Best of all, I don’t have to worry about cleaning the cartridges!

Great value for the collection of absolute classics. They play well and the save states are super helpful. If you enjoyed an NES as a kid, this is a must-buy. The only downside is the short controller cables.

This great little item will bring back your childhood memories. It has a ton of our favorite games. High-quality, and super easy to set up. It’s your basic plug and play item. Highly recommend it.

The game(s) that are preloaded onto the system are fun & exciting as to when myself & my friends played them when I was young. Great price for what is offered. Just wish ALL games were loaded onto the game system for playing.

Just like the old days when we play all games day and night

This is such a flash from the past. Easy to use. Fun for the whole family. We bring it to parties for everyone to play. Both kids and adults love it. Downside the cord for the controller is short.

The NES CLassic Edition is a superb plug 'n play console. The games are varied and the majority of them are bonafide classics. You'll definitely be able to find something to play if you enjoy classic video games. If you can get your hands on one of these at retail price it will be worth it. It's nice for those who want to relive their past, but its also great for those who want to experience what the NES was for the first time. Like I'm sure many others have stated, due to technical limitations the controller cord is too short so unless you're playing close to the console you should buy a long HDMI cord. There are third party controller cord extensions, but they may actually cause delay input lag because the information has to travel further from the controller to the system.
