Customers are saying
Customers praise the NES Classic Edition's game selection, ease of use, small size, and the inclusion of HDMI for modern TVs. Positive comments also highlight the nostalgic appeal and affordable price. However, a common complaint centers on the short controller cord length. Overall, the system is seen as a fun and easy-to-use retro gaming experience.

Classic Throwback
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The NES Classic is the perfect. Ostakgia for machine for anyone like me who grew up playing these old masterpieces. 30 great classics on here, including many that I never played as a kid. Nintendo built in this amazing HD rendering software that makes it look pixel perfect on an HDTV. Highly recommend, if you can find one!

It's a prop - a cool looking prop, but a prop...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These games are the same things you've played before and so there's no problem there but let's be honest - you're getting this to sit on a shelf and fill you with nostalgia. It does that job great. I'd probably rate it higher if it came with controller cables that were 3 times longer. As it stands I don't think I could use the thing even if I wanted to because of how short they are.

Very fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My only complaint is the cord on the controller is so short. Like a foot long. Other than that it's been great

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can’t believe all these games fit in this system and it’s half the size of the original... brings back memories

Nostalgia
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This little gadget is pretty good. It has a good lineup of games. I actually prefer this over the Supernintendo mini.

fun nostalgia
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Glad I waited for Nintendo to start production again. This is a fun bit of nostalgia and worth the $59 price tag.

Excited to have in my collection.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I mean I really only wanted it for the Mario series. The controller cord is like 3ft long not sure who designed that!

Great, nostalgic.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This console, like its 'big' brother, the SNES Classic (which I was actually able to pick up first), has a great library of classic games, a very good interface, multiple saves, rewind..., etc. But I can't realistically say I'll play all the way thru any of these games again. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of good games here, but playing them amounts to a chore in most cases. I'm glad I finally got my hands on one, but for nostalgia purposes only. But I do recommend it.

Excellent stroll down memory lane
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you grew up in the '80s or even if you didn't, the NES Classic Edition is a great truncated representation of NES gaming. The emulation is solid, and the selection of games is equally good. Once you're bored of the stock games, you can always look online to expand what the system can play. ;)
