For anyone who grew up with the original NES, this is a fun trip down memory lane. Thirty games is plenty and the selection is pretty awesome. Plan on buying an extension cord if you stick with the included controller as its only 2.5 feet. Other than that small issue, this system is great for all ages.

I stood outside the Best Buy for an hour and half before the doors opened to get this. I am only comfortable doing that at my Best Buy. They were extremely professional throughout and kept the silliness to a minimum. The product is awesome, and will be better when the wireless controller comes out later.

So awesome to be able to play the games you played growing up. Makes you feel like a kid again lol

This is probably the best product Nintendo had ever released, but Nintendo really pulled a classic Nintendo again. Created artificial scarcity and then discontinued it even though people would have gladly kept shoveling money at them. I'd buy 2 or 3 more of these just for my family if they'd let me.

NES games as they were meant to be played. Great build quality but short controller cords are annoying.

I want to love it and of course love going back in time but it’s not practical. Corded is just too complicated for today’s life. Not to mention it has the shortest cords ever. So you have to purchase extensions and a second controller. The unit is so light it moves all over with the slightest touch or controller cord weight. So it’s cool for occasional use.

Fun playing the old games, but they could have made the controller cable a bit longer and allowed for adding games.

Love the old school games! Really brings me back! So happy my girlfriend stood outside overnight to get it for me!

The NES Classic mini is a must have for anyone that ever owned the original NES. It makes it easy to play classic favorites on modern HD TVs. In addition, it provides filters such as CRT and pixel perfect to further enhance your enjoyment. This product is definitely worth every penny. Very satisfied!

Its a nice little NES system that has HDMI, so there's no need for components or old tube tvs.

Great console for a decent price. I love all of the old games, brings back memories of 20+ years ago. My only gripe with the console is that it only comes with one controller and the cord is literally like a foot long which makes no sense at all. Overall I love it though.

Fun system. There’s enough games to keep me busy. Some of the games didn’t hold up as good as others.

After nintendo disappointed last year with their very limited release, these are back by popular demand. The look and games do have some nostalgic qualities. As others have said the control cords are way to short. Recommend buying the extensions along with this console

Our family has enjoyed playing this as a blast from the past for mom and dad and the kids have had fun playing simpler games we used to enjoy. One word of caution is that I didn’t buy a second controller at the time I purchased this and when I later searched for one, they were pretty hard to come by and more expensive than I expected. If you can get your hands on one when buying this, I’d recommend getting one right away.

I havent played these games since I was a kid and now im teaching my kid to play. Great purchase

I returned it, good price and nothing defective on it but I got it for my wife, she used to like to play the old games, but the controller is very short as wired and you would need to sit close to the TV to use it, didn't want to invest more and she also thought the detail clarity was lacking as well. This might be great for some but it just wasn't for us.
