I am so relieved that the NES mini became available for purchase as third-party retailers were charging an arm and a leg for the system. Sure, my patience was tested for nearly a year, but for 60 bucks it is worth it. It is especially great for introducing young kids to gaming as the controls are easier to handle. On a side note, it is worthwhile in investing in an extension cable for the controls because they are very short and need to be connected to the console. Otherwise, I have had competitions with my family members as we attempt to remember all the secrets of Supr Mario. It has been so much fun!

Love this console. Truly worth every penny. Plenty of games for anyone. You can quibble about some of the selection but for the price it's just WONDERFUL & so nostalgic.

Nintendo has done it again giving the option to re-live childhood memories. The console is a quarter the size of the original console and contains hours of fun. The only downer is that the cord to the controller is really short. Other than that I really enjoy the remake of the NES and would recommend to all.

First of all I love that it's mini. It's so cute. Second I love that it comes preloaded with really fun games. It does only come with one control so it would be best to buy a second one.

I bought this for my son as he really was interested in the games on this system. It is compact and very easy to use. He has gotten hours of enjoyment out of the system.

Easy to set up and get started, only took minutes. It reminded us of the original NES when it started up. The game screens are exactly as I remember them. So ,much fun!

These live up to the hype. Dang near pocket size for a console with 30 games. All the favorites are there so I am more than pleased.

Let me be absolutely clear: for $60, this machine is definitely worth the price! These games have never looked so clear, and it really does feel like you're playing the original NES! Granted, some of the game selections are questionable (why Super C instead of the original Contra?), but there are enough classic titles here to forgive that. There are only two glaring flaws. The first is the ridiculously short controller cable. Buying the Insignia-branded extension cord is an absolute must! Second, the game selection and save interface is way too complicated and inconvenient. Why not have options for both come up when you pause the game? Instead, you have to physically press the console's reset button to go back to the selection screen. The game save interface is even more convoluted and has already resulted in a few botched game saves. It can't even be sufficiently described in words. You've got to see it in action. Those two qualms aside though, this NES Classic Edition is a guaranteed hit for those of us who grew up in the 80s and early 90s.

Do not pay more than the regular asking price. This console is great but not worth more than $60. It gives you 30 great games from back in the day and puts them on the big screen in HD. I would suggest also buying wireless controllers or you will be face to face with Mario since the cords are so short!

This is well worth the purchase for anyone who wants to play their NES games on an hdtv without any hassle. It has 30 classics you are bound to at least like 16 of them guaranteed.

So happy with purchase of NES Classic. Glad I was able to get one this time. With 30 games, NES Classic reminds me of my childhood. Awesome price and awesome product!

It was the perfect gift. I wasnt expecting it to be so tiny but it just makes it cuter. Has most of my favorite games. Best part of all i dont have to deal with cartridges. I love it!

A great little collectors item. A must have for any nintendo fan. It comes with great games and it's easy to hack and add more.

I remember most of the games from back in the day. I really enjoy the classics. The price isn't bad considering the number of games included in the console. The idea of making these games available was brilliant. If you like retro... You'll have a great time with this.

My wife has been itching for a retro video game fix, and this is just the product to scratch it. Not only does it have the games she used to play, but it has games we've never heard of. It looks great on the big screen with its different video options and it plays just like the old NES. This product is not for everybody. It is advertised for the people who want to feel that nostalgia and don't want to feel like they are playing an emulation on the computer, With that being said there are some hang-ups, one of the biggest one being the extremely short controller cord. if you want to play on the couch comfortably, you absolutely HAVE to buy extenders for controller or a long HDMI cord. We had a bad experience with our box as it came with a bad HDMI cord. We were going to buy a long one anyway so it doesn't matter. Also the controller input lag may be a little off, but that may be just me. This product is great for the nostalgia feels and you cant beat 30 NES games for $60 if you compare it to the virtual console sales on the WiiU.

What a great idea for a product and at a reasonable price. The only wonky thing is the length of the cord of the controller but you can buy an extender and it fixes the problem.

Works great. Has 30 games to play which is a great plus Easy hookup. Read instructions and cautions before purchasing. If sensitive to blinking bright lights.

The NES Classic is a very fun system packed with 30 great games. However, the controller packed in is a bit short and it's incredibly hard to find. I wouldn't spend over MSRP.

This little thing really helps your reminisce of the old days. Great classic games, easy install but only downfall is the ridiculously short length of the controller cable. Extension cable is a must buy with this. Otherwise you’ll be sitting just a few feet from your screen.
