Bought for my son. Brings back so many memories. Easy to set up and easy to use. I do recommend the controller extender cords as the originals are pretty short.

A great little collectors item. A must have for any nintendo fan. It comes with great games and it's easy to hack and add more.

Love it, I have read and heard of some people complaining about the library of 30 games on it and having only one control. I was lucky enough to buy an extra OEM one for 9.99 the same day. Honestly yes having a 3 foot cable isn't ideal but an extension does come in a 2 pack so it does a little ore to the price tag but I can easily unplug it and store unlike the original and those games if I bought them on the virtual console could easily cost me more than $100 plus the save feature is really amazing. Glad I could walk in and buy it and not have to leave work to stand in line. Worth every $$

So, I thought I would just be playing games, but this unit actually brought me back in time. The 90s to be exact. It feels like I am there again, except some things have changed. I no longer need to : Insert big square boxes into an even bigger square box. Blow on one of the big boxes and jam it in to get it to work. Some things have changed, maybe do to going back in time, I actually go into a parallel universe where, the cord is much smaller than i remember. This causes issues since you can't be very far from the unit. Also, the TV is much clearer and not tube based, but OLED. It's nice, but I don't remember that in the 90's. However, there is an option to show at lower quality, but the physical tv is still pretty flat. Also, the main unit is MUCH smaller then the original. I also noticed, that if you hook it up to a tv with a soundbar, the sound doesn't work right. I pretty much have to disable the sound bar :( Anyway, it was a great trip back to the 90's and I plan to visit it every so often!

The NES mini offers the best version of 30 NES games and provides hours upon hours of entertainment. It has an easy to understand interface and the simplicity of the NES controller means that even most newcomers shouldn't have a hard time figuring out how to use it. If you can find this item at MSRP it is a great deal as the cost of purchasing the games contained on it either physically or digitally is higher than the $60 asking price. However, at current secondary market prices it is a pass. I can't recommend spending more than $60 on this item but if you can get it at that price then I think you are getting a great value.

With all of these games what is not to love? (except for the short controller wire (only like 30in). Controller cord comically short. 99% of people will want to buy another controller. Games are good but knowing how little memory these games take up they could include way more for pennies. Look for a classic 2 in a couple years with twice the games for the same price.

I am very happy that I finally was able to purchase one of these. Love the old NES games and you get 30 in a compact package. My only complaint is the comically short controller cable. For a better play experience you may want to invest in a third party wireless controller.

One of the hottest gifts of the 2016 holiday season? I'd say more of a cool stocking stuffer. After a few hours I came to realize that while I enjoyed my trip down memory lane, the nostalgia wears quickly. Those Saturday nights of playing Nintendo were the fun events of growing up in the late 80s/early 90s. This did bring back a few of those highlights. However after a few hours of play within a couple of days that magic slightly diminished. I couldn't imagine paying a high price for this item through countless bidding sites. It's a game Best awaited for at the regular if not sale price within time. Give this item that time and enjoy.

Great games. very easy to hook up and play for myself and our grandson. The process of buying it, was very easy and at the store, the pick up was very smooth.

This mini console is awesome! It’s so great to able to play older games on my newer tv. It’s also convenient for the fact of not having to switch out cartridges.

I love my Nintendo Classic and it takes me straight back into my childhood! Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, Tecmo Bowl, and Kirby are among my favorite games to play. I love the compact size of the console however I would have liked it if Nintendo provided an extra controller with a longer wire

Nice way to live the 80s. Expect nostalgia with short cord and 8-bit. You’ll need to buy an extra controller. I would recommend dual wireless.

Overall, this system is pretty good. It's got a decent selection of games and the interface looks good and it's simple and easy to use. It's at least a fun little diversion. I can't rate it perfectly because it has several issues: It only comes with one controller and the cable length on the controller is ridiculously short. Beyond that, it's a chore to have to press the Reset button every time you want to change the game or save your progress. Last thing, and it's a bit of a nitpick, but the selection of games could be a little better. There are a lot of arcade style games that have so little variety, so you won't spend too much time on them. Also Castlevania II should have been tossed for the much superior Castlevania III, but that's just my opinion. Again, there's lots of fun to be had here if you can deal with or work around having only one controller with a short cable. (Extenders are a lifesaver.)

This is a great inexpensive console with classic games. I grew up playing Pacman and Mario and I still enjoy those games in their original version.

After having this console for a while, I have to say it's a great addition to anyone's collection. The short cord on the controller is a little crazy. What were you thinking Nintendo? I guess when they were making everything smaller, they thought it was a good idea to shrink the cable size as well. I have to say it's been reliable, but I miss having to blow on the cartridges to play my games. The save states are amazing, which means breaks are now feasible without having to leave the machine on. Although it's been discontinued officially, there are still a few stores that have small supplies trickling in.

The nostalgia factor alone is worth the price! I have enjoyed playing the games that are included. The controller cord is way too short, but with an extender, it is perfect.

This is an amazing product! It comes loaded with 30 NES classics. If you like old school games, get this! Comes with micro USB AC adapter and HDMI cable.

Great console. Glad Best Buy had them in stock! Amazing value with 30 games included. Be sure to get the Insignia controller with the longer cord, or some cord extenders.

This game is so fun. Its a small package but has nostalgia. Would reccomend but definatly order longer controllers as i dont like sitting next to the t.v.
