Awesome blast from the past. Well worth the purchase. I grew up playing the original Super Mario Bros., Legend Of Zelda, Link, Ninja Gaiden., etc and the NES Classic has almost all the classics I owned once upon a time. My children enjoy playing these old 8 Bit games and get a kick out of the basic game play. The only thing that has been noted by many other is the short cables for the controllers. I’m looking into an aftermarket wireless controller or able extender. Nevertheless, this NES is a must have for anyone who loved playing their Nintendo in the late 80s/early 90s.

Great console. Glad Best Buy had them in stock! Amazing value with 30 games included. Be sure to get the Insignia controller with the longer cord, or some cord extenders.

This thing is awesome!! Tiny, compact, and amazing graphics. The amount of games are excellent and being able to save is a game changer! Highly recommend!

This is the greatest. I have spent countless hours with my son teaching him video games the right way thanks to this amazing little machine.

This is a great little system that really captures those early days of gaming. If you grew up with an NES, you should definitely get one of these.

I love it. I miss the older games. This is a great system with the 30 games that come built in. My only complaint is the extremely shot controller cord. It's ridiculous!

We are really enjoying our new Nintendo Classic edition. Love the compact size of it. Easy to travel with. Grandkids are having lots of fun with it.

This is truly a classic. Classic games and fun. Easy to set up, easy to play and all around pretty good. The one downfall that it has is the length of the cord for the controller. You either have to stand in front of the unit/tv or buy another controller.

This NES just took me to the 90's, the best games and you will have them all in one place. This NES is perfect to spend time with family just having fun.

There are a few differences: the cartridge lid doesn’t flip open (because all the games are permanently pre-loaded on internal storage) and it has an HDMI port and a USB Micro power input on the back. But outside of that, this is a perfect miniature recreation of Nintendo’s first home console as it appeared on its North American debut in 1985. The wired NES Classic Controller (one is included, and you can buy another for $10) follows the same reverent attention to detail, but the D-pad feels much smoother and lighter than the uncomfortably hard plastic Nintendo used on the original. Otherwise, the controller dimensions are the same, just slightly lighter. But the catch here is that the controllers connect to the system using painfully short 2.5ft cables though the Wii accessory connector. That’s a proprietary port, and Nintendo doesn’t sell extension cables or wireless controllers.

Great device with a few short falls. Games are great and quality is what was expected. The controls are much more responsive than the Genesis throwback I have with wireless controls. Only down fall is the cord is too short and I have to sit too close to the tv

At $60, I think the price is a fair price for the games that have aged well and are still enjoyable to play (Mario 3, Castlevania, Punch Out, etc). It would have been nice if there was an eShop to add games legitimately, but overall this is a pretty good sampler of what the NES was.

This is by far the greatest system Nintendo could have created!!! A mini version of the original NES and the games are programmed in the system!!! Koolest thing ever

This NES Classic Edition is loaded with great games from NES golden years. Nice little unit is easy to set up anywhere. It's fun for the whole family.

The games on this mini system are all fantastic. This is an awesome way to share some of the old greats with the kids or just relive the nostalgia from a bygone era. The only real problem I have with it is the controllers' cord length. Otherwise a great product!

Awesome system. Has all of the classic games. Only bad side about this is that it has one controller and the length of the controller is too short.

Am really pleased with being able to purchase one of these. Played these games when they first game out. Told my grown children how we'd plunk quarters into the arcade machines playing Donkey Kong. Unit is as expected as I had researched earlier. Bought two 10' cable extensions for the controller when I bought the SNES version. Also, can use the extra controller from the SNES version as a 2nd controller for the NES version. Playing on a 55" tv and it uses the entire screen. Picture is beautiful. Play is great. As remembered. Will spend many hours playing.

This is so cool! Very nostalgic, and extremely portable. comes with some of the best NES games, too. Only comes with one controller though.

30 of the best games from the original Nintendo. Love it! Only complaint is how short the cords are. Definitely buy extension cables for either the controllers or HDMI.

This is a great way to relive some of those memories from your childhood. While I wish there was a larger selection of games, or that the wired controller was longer, it has been a blast playing the games. My 5-year-old son loves the system and playing games on it, he's on it more than I am, and plays several days a week, even after playing more modern systems and games. If you grew up with the NES, then you'll love it. Though highly recommend you get either a wireless controller or a controller extender, unless you want to sit directly inches from the TV.
