I lost my nes in the flood and was loathed to buy an old system again to replace it all. Behold, Nintendo helped my with my plight and gave us this machine with many of the best games of its era. The cord is short and it only comes with one controller but the factory controller feels good in your hand and responds very well. It allows for saves at any time so some of the old games that were made extremely difficult so they games wouldn't seem so short can now be conquered in a day rather than half your summer. A must buy for those who miss their NES days :)

Boy does this thing bring back memories! LOVE IT! Although the cord is short (apparently no shorter than the original though) it has provided hours upon hours of entertainment for us! I was also one of the first to buy this and was very happy with the way Best Buy handled the customers waiting in line. I was there early, an associate came out before the store opened and handed out 'tickets' to those of us in line for as many units were available and we could leave and come back after the store opened to pick up our product instead of waiting outside for several more hours prior to the store opening.

This has been an enjoyable piece of hardware to have in my household. I enjoy several of the games on this system and I can play them with my family since I have an extra controller. My only real complaint is there is no easy way to create save points. You have to reset and it creates a point there. Newer systems have friendlier ways of save or restore points (beyond those that the games themselves create). This was worth the time it took to track it down!

Bought this for my father as a gift and he totally loved it, great selection of games that come with the Mini NES. Definitely worth the price.

What an awesome gift comes preloaded with 30games and is hdmi ready. My wife and I love this, takes us back in time and feel like a kid again..

Great idea! Fun product I enjoy playing. However, the 2ft cord is a little ridiculous. People rarely sit 2' from today's massive TV screens. The extender cord was not available at time of purchase. Maybe Best Buy can come up with a wireless cord?

Its essentially an emulator. It contains 30 games from mario to zelda and if your a fan of retro games then this is for you! However the cord on the controller is super short. My arm is longer. But that's a quick fix since you can get extenders on amazon

Finally Nintendo has done what all true fans of the original console has wanted for years. After realizing we should have never thrown out a video game that would become the biggest seller of all time we now get a,moment of clarity with the reissue of the NES Classic. I recommend this for past and future generations to show our children what 8-bit video games were really like before a PS4 or XBOX ONE S. This is one incredible product and very hard to get so if you are lucky enough to come across one I wouldn't hesitate to buy this because it will be one incredible trip back down memory lane.

Can't complain for much, most of the classic games are on it and it is not that expensive. Not a necessary item to have, but it is nice to have.

These games are still a lot of fun to play, and this device put them right at your finger tips. A lot of fun. I can't stop playing Galaga!!!

Nintendo really through it out of the ball park with these classic devices. They have provided countless hours of fun for friends and family. And the great memento and nostalgia factor was worth all the money. Definitely recommend it. Also recommend buying the controller extension cables. I got the insignia branded ones and they have been working great. If you can still find one of these brand new it would definitely make a great gift this Christmas.

Good for nostalgia. Have most of the best games that Nintendo had at that time. Works like a charm. Only thing is the control cable is too short.

Growing up I had the original NES. So when this product was announced I knew I had to get my hands on it as sot it was released but for a while I did not think I was ever going to get one of my own due t limited supply. Thankfully Nintendo upped the production and I was finally able to get one! Great selection of games . Hope to see an N64 and GC somdday sooon. Totally worth every penny I paid. I just wish it had 2 controllers in the box.

It has been nice to easily access and play NES games from childhood in a small form-factor device that has HDMI. Its portability also makes it fun for get-togethers, however do yourself a favor and buy a cable extension for the controllers.

Love this classic version of games I used to play as a kid. Love the size of it so it doesn’t take much space and comes with everything you need

The minute you turn it on you feel like a kid again. The only thing I miss is blowing on the game cartridges to get them to work and the freezing during the game. Having all the games included is amazing. Quality is great. Wish it came with longer/wireless controllers.

It has a lot of games, some great and some decent. However, the controller cable length is short and it lacks the rewind feature of the SNES classic. If you ask me, I think even outside of the library of games, the SNES classic is a better buy.

Awesome classic console even if it only comes with 30 games.Only downfall you need to purchase cable extenders because the controller cables are way too short.
