So fun and comes with a good selection of classic Nintendo games. One star knocked off because I wish it came with a second controller and longer cords which are sold separately. The cords it comes with are ridiculously short.

I've been wanting to get one of these since it sold out when originally released . Happened to stumble upon it one day in store and had to get it! This console is tons of fun with a bit of nostalgia thrown in, but the controllers are a bit short and you only get one--small downside, but still lots of fun to play. Don't pay more than $60 for this, especially since you'll probably end up purchasing another controller extensions for the controllers so you're not sitting so close to the TV.

We love family game night on this unit. Even the 2 year old can get on the action. Takes me back many years. So much fun.

Very cool to be able to play so many classic games from my childhood, but truthfully I only play a handful, and could care less about most of them. The biggest issue for me is Nintendo's ridiculous decision regarding the controller for the NES Classic. Why include only one controller, and furthermore, why include one with a 30 inch cord?! It's completely useless, and I mean that literally- I haven't used it once! I had to buy off-brand wireless controllers, which work fine (a few connection glitches), but at least they allow me to play without having to stand right in front of the TV. And the ones I bought allow me to reset and switch games without having to walk up to the box and do it manually. Extremely short-sighted decision by Nintendo, in much the same way as they vastly underestimated demand for this product in the first place.

This system is fun for those who learned to play video games on the NES. The game selection is good. The cord on the controller is really short and I would recommend getting the extension cable or wireless controllers.

Easy to hook up, comes with everything you need. It has some of the best old school games. Great gaming unit for family

Happen to have gotten the last one when Nintendo announced they were discontinuation and Best Buy would be getting the last batch of their final production. I was luckily the last one to get the last ticket to purchase this. I have been searching for this infamous product since it's release back in November 2016. Overall, it is a fun little nostalgia to play once and a while, but it does just go back in its box since most of these games I could just play on my 3DS or upcoming Switch (if they ever make that capability).

Great to have all these classic games to revisit. It’s really portable making it great to take on trips.

Glad to finally get my hands on one of these. It brought back so many good childhood memories. Simple plug n play use. All u need is an extra controller for a 2nd player and a long HDMI cable to keep the console close to you as the included controller is a tad on the short side. Easy fix. I've had it for over a month and it still works great! Sad that it's discontinued but looking forward to the SNES to be released (i hope the rumors are true). Anyways, this is easily the best purchase that i've made in quite some time.

Lots of classic games, a compact and low power system to play them on, but the experience is marred by the inexcusably short controller cables. Still would recommended to any who is nostalgic about 8-bit classic gaming.

Fun gaming system. Smaller size than the original console. Connected easily to my TV. The controller cord is short. Needed to purchase an extension. Would be nice if it came with two controllers. Fun playing classic games

Not only a wonderful nostalgic trip through videogames of the 80s/early 90s, but a genuinely fun and well-made mini console. Emulation is solid although there is a hint of input delay. UI is terrific. Game selection has all the hits you'd expect although I would've loved to have seen a couple more quirky, lesser-known titles from the era. But all in all, a fantastic device that I still use to this day.

This is a must have for anyone who grew up playing the original Nintendo Entertainment System. It has a great selection of games. Hopefully the issues with availability will be improved soon. The compact size of the system is also a plus.

I was fortunate enough to place an order on release day. Best Buy came through with flying colors for me. I had a Nintendo as a child and this very cute mini version looks even better on a 55 inch HD television. It also sounds great on a 7.1 surround sound system. It was very simple plug and play, and it worked perfectly with everything that you need right in the box. I like all 30 games included and cannot recommend this enough. Regardless of age, if you have ever enjoyed playing a video game, this NES Classic is for you.

It works well but it only comes with one remote control and the cord on the remote that comes with the system is ridiculously short. Tt is too short you have to sit very close to the TV. The console has the feature to save your progress in any game for up to 4 saves simultaneously. Which is awesome because the original NES didn't allow you to do that. Console has what it says. 30 plus games. The 30 games are all the ones you'll remember playing and loving and while there are a couple others I wish they included.

My family absolutely loves this! It's little and easy to pack when we go to our cabin!

All the games I loved when I was 5. Cord is a bit short but keeps you close to the reset button to switch between games.

This is a great system, packed with some of the best games from the NES era. It's a lot of fun playing these classic games again. I just wish the controller cord length was longer and there were two controllers included in the box.
