The wait was definitely worth it here! Finally able to get one of these on the reissue without having to resort to waiting in a huge line or paying a scalper. It has everything you want and remember from the original system that changed home gaming forever. Get one for yourself or just to introduce your kids to how fun games can be without the need for mocrotransactions and constant upgrades.

This is a fantastic package: 30 of some of (missing some notable greats though) the best Nintendo Entertainment System games all in a miniature NES system with an authentic feeling controller. As someone who still owns an original NES system, I'm impressed with how exactly right they got the feeling of the controllers and buttons. Other great features of the system are 720p HD video out (not 1080p but you won't see a difference at all, I promise), easy to navigate user interface (with catchy NES music to accompany it), and ways to save progress through every at any point through save states. Only gripe would be that there is no way to purchase more games for this unit, but I can understand that Nintendo wants this to be a self contained unit without needing to constantly update it (which was like the original NES of course). Nintendo wants you to buy their new Nintendo Switch which will have all of these games to play and probably a lot more. Overall a great package, especially for $59.99. Great for those wanting to relive classics, or even for a parent wanting to share something with their kids that they can both enjoy. Pick it up (well, if you can find one)!

When I first heard about this system I though, "what a gimmick" but I actually think it is pretty cool. It has a lot of the games I grew up playing and I kicked but in Dr. Mario the other day. I was lucky enough to be number 10 in line out of 70 total available units. This system comes loaded with 30 games and looks just like the original NES, but a shrunken down version. If you were born in the early 80s, I recommend this!

great for my girls aged, 3, 6 and 8. I tried introducing them to the Wii, but most of the games are too difficult and they get frustrated quickly. On the NES classic even my 3 yr old can play excitebike and bubble bobble and the balloon race game since they only require 2 buttons. 6yr old likes Kirby. I'm enjoying revisiting Zelda myself since I never was able to beat it as a kid.

I waited since this came out to get it. I got the email notification and stood outside at 5am! This is well worth the wait! All the old games I wanted and more! It is so much fun. Each game has several save slots to save your game. I have all 3 super marios, including the one with yoshi, donkey king, Dr. Mario, an old punch out type of game and more. This little guy is so tiny but definitely packs a punch in fun!

It's a NES, only smaller and no need to use cartridges (not necessarily a plus but hey, on the positive side you don't need to pay top dollar for some of the games pre-installed on this unit) Lots to love and play, and it's so worth the money if you can get it at MSRP (probably not since it has become a collector's item...)

It's easy to connect with TV and really has multiple games. My brother likes it very much.

The NES Classic edition is truly a classic! What a blast from the past! All the games are just as I remember them back in the day. Unfortunately I still get stuck at the same levels in the games as I used to 30 years ago. I would highly recommend getting the extension cables for the controllers or buying a wireless controller. Go buy this today and start having fun again!

What else can be said? It's a classic NES with the games that were the most popular when it came out. It has enough on it to satisfy my needs, but it's entirely possible to mod this console to do much, much more if one wants to. If I wanted to do that though, I would just build a RetroPie. This is all about the classic look & feel of the controllers, and it's a winner!

My son loves playing all the old games that I played growing up. Punch Out, Zelda, Mario, Excitebike, and so many others! The design is so tiny and cute. Easy to hook up, easy to use. This doesn't get used as much as the Xbox or PS but it is still a nice addition to the game system collection, especially when they are back in stock and people aren't reselling them at double the price.

Let’s be honest, no ones reading the review here to find out if they should buy it but to rather just let time as they wait for it to get back in stop. I have not played mine yet because I’m a collector but this is definitely worth it. If you were to buy those games individually for the NES this package would cost over 200 bucks. Great product. Hope to see more flashback consoles.

So small and yet so fun to play! Only comes with one controller and the cord is way short.

Great gift idea. Nice selection of games. Stupid easy to set up and use. Main gripes: Controller cable length is ridiculously short. There are a good amount of notices telling you not to leave it plugged in while you're not using it, and that scares me, and is very inconvenient every time I'm not using it. Very annoying and inconvenient to have to reach toward the console itself anytime you want to change the game, it makes sense thematically though, in the sense of reaching towards the NES to turn it off and swap cartridges, and keeping the controllers as close to the originals as possible.

The NES Classic is a great small console with 30 of the classic games on the NES. I have enjoyed playing this system so far. I had a NES back in the day and regret givibg it away. Fond memories with this console. The build quality is awesome. Using a hdmi cable and serting it up with my LCD screen is just awesome.

Nice games are installed. this is a bit better then the playstation one.
