Usps never delivered the system and sent it back! Smh

Wow what a machine. This mini NES takes me back to my childhood. It comes packed with 30 of the best games NES has to offer. This was a blast showing my 8 year old all the games that I played when I was his age. Just when I started getting fatigue of the thirty games internet searches showed that there are ways to add the complete NES lineup or a variation between NES, SNES, Genesis, and many more. This little machine packs a big wallup. The only negative thing I can say is the controller length is extremely short so you will need to buy extension cables and a controller with more buttons if you plan on adding games from different systems to your NES. This is a must own for any gamer.

A great way to relive my childhood memories. Even though I have the original NES, I still want this. Along with the 30 great games, it also has permanent and instant temporary saves. It also uses HDMI so you can either play it with pixel perfect display, the old CRT television or 4:3 aspect ratio. A second controller will only cost $10 or you can use the Classic Controller and Classic Controller Pro. For those complaining about the game selection or not being able to add games, this system is like any other plug and play system. You can't please everyone but all the games included are solid choices. Just download the roms if you're unsatisfied with the selection, that simple.

Buy it for the nostalgia! Its so much fun to go back and revisit these games

This system is awesome!!!! But Nintendo really did the wrong thing here by not making enough to the point where everyone bought them just like that and now there aren't any left for the people who haven't gotten one yet. I have no problem with the console at all my problem is with the company.

At first you think it's a great deal. But then you find out it comes with 1 controller that is so short you literally have to sit right in front of the console to play it. Then you add a basic controller which is $10 for the same length or $13 for 10ft cord. So if you add 2 of the longer cords it's now $50+$26 +tax. I spent $78 today for the console and only 1 controller with tax. Plug in your HDMI and you're good to go. The only flaw is you have to hit the reset button on the console to change games or go to the main screen again. That can get annoying when you're kicking back playing a game and you have to keep getting up to change it. Other than that, classic games, fair price. Still, almost $80 for one controller and the game, you get 30 games. I only play 9 of them but still ok for the money.

For the first time in my life I waited outside of Best Buy for 2 hours to get this. It's better than I expected, and has been fun reliving my childhood. Looking forward to Thanksgiving to play with the entire family :)

I was finally able to purchase this system from Best Buy after waiting for over a year for it to be restocked. I wasn't going to pay a seller's premium while they were sold out at retail stores and I am glad I didn't. Overall the system is good with a decent selection of games. Though many of us will have at least a couple of games that we wish were on here. I know this system is retro, but i wish they could have improved the graphics slightly. My only true complaint is the one wired handle that comes with this unit. It is far too short to be functional. Unless you want to sit three feet in front of your tv. Buying a cordless handle or two is a MUST!

I recently picked this up and am so glad that I did. It may not offer the best games for the NES but it certainly offers enough to keep you busy. I love the simplicity of having it all on one system that looks great. Time to reminisce and play with my son. Money well spent. I knew that the cords were on the short side so I ordered the extension cables and have no problems now. Great value for the price.

Most of the more popular Nintendo classic games come loaded on this miniature game unit. However, it only comes with one controller with an exceptionally short cord (1 1/2 ft). Best Buy also sells Insignia controllers with a 10 ft cord. They also sell 6 ft cord extensions. Our grandkids love this. We bought a second unit for our motor home.

This is a great deal for anyone looking to dip into some classic games that have really stood the test of time. At $2 a game its hard to find a better value even if you only enjoy a handful. If you manage to get your hands on a system you have to consider getting a third part extension for the controller as its prohibitively short ($4-$10 depending on store and length). I shrugged at the issue when I read other reviews but was taken back how much of an issue it really is when using it.

The NES Classic isn't just something for old school fans but also great for new comers who have never played a classic Nintendo game ever. This includes 30 great classic Nintendo games from Super Mario Bros. to The Legend of Zelda. It's completely worth the $60 price point.

You can't beat this. If you are complaining that you don't get to use your own games. Who Cares!! For the Price of a Sorry Game Like COD you get 30 Awesome Games. If Nintendo had made it a Full Console it would sell for over 6 Times what this is going to cost.

This system is great even though it is only limited to 30 games out of the box. It is small plays well and a lot of fun. Would have been a 5 star rate but the controller cables was way to short. One great time that I like is that you do not have to find a plug to power it, you can just plug it in a USB on your TV to power it. I hated haven to plug everything into the wall.

This is my second review for the NES Classic Edition(first was before I got it). Nothing negative to say about this at all!!!! This little console packs a powerful punch. The graphics are exactly the way you remember them from back in the day. I am absolutely loving the choice of games that were chosen for this console!! At first I thought that the cord for the controller would be too short, but it is just right for the way my TV is setup. Playing some of the games took me back to my childhood days of getting lost for hours on end trying to defeat Ganon and Dracula, trying to save the Princess time after time, and other timeless adventures. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.....Way to go Nintendo!!! Definitely a must for any gamer, young or old!!!!

This console as pictured looks great! HDMI! I own 6 of the 30 games, an original NES and 2 clone systems. This looks to be a definite must for retro gamers. I was surprised when I saw this today. I can't wait!

We absolutely love the NES. I was expecting it to be a little bit bigger and was surprised at how tiny it was but it's adorable. It runs just like the old games did which is fantastic it is just how I remember it as a child. I feel that the older games were harder to beat than the newer ones are now a days. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who is specially loved playing video games from back then. I would also recommend those who just love nostalgic things. I especially love that a majority of the games are ones that I remember as a child loving. Instead of them putting on only a few good games and the rest bad they actually put a lot of good ones. If you don't have one get one!

Many video game systems have come and gone but none that leaves you with the nostalgic feel of playing the original NES. As many people have complained before, the controller cord is extremely short, and there is only in the box. You should buy an extra controller and adapter.
