This operates literally as advertised. If you're old enough that you owned an original NES, this emulates ~30 games exactly and connects to a modern TV with an HDMI cable. This actually works better than the switch at original NES gameplay, I think due to the intuition in the controllers.

Nintendo classic edition comes with 50 games good price

I have been looking for this for a long time. When this first came out it was sold out everywhere. Then come to find out that Nintendo was not going to make anymore. But to my surprise Best Buy had it in stock recently. So happy!! Had to get it. For all you gamers who loved those classic games and still like playing them. This is a must buy!!

Love the NES classic. Great selection of games and easily sets up with your TV. My only complaint is how short the controller cords are.

The Nintendo Entertainment System- Classic Edition is a great buy. Good price and lots of games that we, Seniors, remember from our youth. This was a Christmas gift for my Granddaughter. She enjoys these games, with particular emphasis on MARIO. It was easy to hook up to the TV. Instructions are easy to follow, and the games are great

The product is a 5. The lack of being able to actually get one gets a 1. Hopefully this will be easier in Summer 2018 when its rereleased.

Great quality games for a great deal, worth the buy if you can find it

Bought for my wife who loves Mario Brothers. She has enjoyed and grand kids have even started playing. They could spend hours playing. Has ability to save progress in certain games. Plugs right in using HDMI. Bought two additional controllers with longer cords to make it easier to play.

All you favorite NES games on one console and so small. FUN!

Love this system. Easy set up, small and fits in your hand but awesome otherwise. My only complaint is I wish their were more games that I actually played

I got this for my husband and my brother in law and they both really enjoyed it over the holidays. I will say that the cords that come with it are really not long enough, so prepare to purchase a longer HDMI (we found a cheap 25ft one) and a small extension cord. Also remember it only includes one controller. Otherwise it's awesome!

All hail the king! The original NES was my first game console. It had some great games! And although some classics are missing from this little unit, thanks licensing, this is still a great little all-in-one console-ish device with some great memories on it! Can't recommend enough! Try to get chord extenders and a 2nd controller though...

nice console packed with amazing titles ... hours of fun

We got this on release day (thank god my wife had the day off) - it is fun and all, the controller cable is TOO SHORT and even the extension doesn't reach our couch! Like.. two extensions needed? I can't wait to get the wireless 3rd party controller that is coming out around Jan 2017. The unit has started up incorrectly twice - both times it's just a blue screen that won't go away unless you power off / power on. Besides that, stable :D No blowing on cartridges is nice. The controller has a good feel to the BUTTONS but I don't like the dpad. The plastic is too smooth.

what can i say from this amazing product besides the fact that its a time machine, only con is nintendo not allowing you to add more games

I was surprised at how the graphics looked on my 4K TV, not that you get 4K images, but it filled the screen and looked terrific. I had a blast going back to my childhood years!! I also purchased two wireless controllers instead of buying a second wired controller... worth it! Only negative is the cord to the controller is short.

I finally tracked this perfect lil 8 bit system while vacationing in Orlando Fl. You can't go wrong with the nes mini! over 30 games of pure 8bit fun that the entire family can enjoy! No need for passcodes from back in the day, this system has an instant save feature! Do yourself and your family a favor and head to best buy and grab one!

Plug in and play. Lots of titles with lots of memories.
