Got my NES classic ....Love it....but wouldn't pay more than $60 for it...so please wait for the Nintendo to make more...It really ain't worth more than $60 trust me....I am the child who grew up on NES but to my knowledge this console is not worth $200 or what these people are selling online for. I really love it I get to play my childhood games once more.

The NES Classic Edition itself is a great collectible on its own, with the ability to 30 classic NES games... it would've been nice to be able to download additional titles in the future, as some classics like Tetris aren't present, but having all time greats such as Mario Bros 3 & The Legend of Zelda help fill the void.

managed to SNAG one but had to get there 2 hours before store opened. We were 3rd in line. Just BE PATIENT stores will get restocked in time for Christmas hopefully. Don't pay the OUTRAGEOUS prices going on ebay right now. All 30 games are solid titles. Downloading all of the 30 games at $5 each from virtual console would cost U 150 This is a plug and play. To people complaining why isn't _ on here then just go and buy a real NES from a retro game store to play physical games but keep in mind retro game prices have gone up from what they were 20-30 years ago

Where do I begin. I missed the Initial release of the system and was depressed. Well it was worth the wait. All the major games of the original nes are here: mega man 2, all three Mario brothers, excitebike, tecmo bowl, and punch out- minus mike Tyson. I highly recommended purchasing another controller and extended controller cords.

Ahhh way to take me back. I forgot that you can't save your progress and get kicked back to the beginning, haha. My only change would be for the system to include wireless controllers or longer cords, but besides that, love the system and the games chosen. Crazy how something so small can bring me so much joy. Yay for Mario Bros.!!!

I love this nostalgic console and it’s games. I bought this so my kids can play and know how games were made back in my time and the fact that they will probably stop making these it’s worth the buy! Only con in my opinion is that comes with 1 controller and the cords are not that long for the controller that comes with it.

Game selection on this nes is good. Wish they could add more games and extend the cable from the controller. This is great purchase!

The NES Classic isn't for everyone, but I can say that it is for those who grew up with it, are collectors, and those who are curious enough to even want to experience 8-bit Nintendo goodness from the past. Though some of these games may not have aged well by today's standards, you still have a plethora of games that will take you hours to complete and guarantee you some ultimate fun! Classics such as Mega Man II, Castlevania, Contra, Metroid, the Legend of Zelda, and ESPECIALLY Super Mario Bros. 3. These games are particularly challenging and will really be worth so much more than the amount you pay for this item. They're also highly regarded as classics in video game history and it's great to see where these franchises all started. In my opinion, they've aged well. Other games like Balloon Fight and Bubble Bobble are perfect for when you want to lay back and relax and other games like Tecmo Bowl are the right touch for the nostalgia factor for those who actually grew up in this era. If you're a Nintendo fan or love the challenging, yet simplistic design of video games of the 80s, this classic console compilation is just for you!

In an effort to maximize nostalgia, I ordered the NES Classic. The console works great. I recommend using the Wii/WiiU Classic controller or the NES Classic wireless controllers as the controller cable that comes with the unit is quite short. Overall, I have had a great experience with this product and recommend it to anyone.

30 games that bring back all the best memories. Controller needs a little to be desired (response time). Compact unit, clear picture.

MY wife and i love it. That is why it is still 5 stars even though there are some cons. First the good. It works well, allows saving and is just plain fun! Complaints: 1.Controller cord length is not long enough. Think 2 feet..... Easy fix with extension cords, but still lame. 2. No Contra! its a classic that should be there.

Great for the price, just wish it included 2 controllers and the cord length was longer. Had to buy extender cables on amazon.

Good selection of built in games but if you are expecting to play your old cartridges then you will be disappointed. If the ability to play those means more then check with your local mom and pop shops like Entertainmart and pick up a used original NES. I love it. I have an originally nes and super nes. I wanted this 2 years ago when it came out. Primarily for the mario series, link series, tecmo bowl, and megaman and excite bike. Brings back all the memories when I played when I was young, but haven't brought the skill back. Some of the buttons may be a bit laggy or insensitive.
