I gave this to my husband as a Christmas gift. After waiting hours and hours and hours in line in the freezing cold I have to say that it was all 100% worth it. My husband can't get enough of this gift. I only wish it came with 2 controllers and the cords were a little bit longer. Other than that the games were just are we remembered and loved

This is definitely a classic gaming system and a staple from my childhood. I couldn't wait to get the mini in our home. It was great sharing the memories of these games with my nieces and nephews. It was hilarious watching them try to play a basic gaming system. I only wish Paperboy was one of the games on the console.

It's 30 classic NES titles all packaged inside a charming mini replication of the retro console. The suspend feature makes it convenient to pick up and play, and somewhat easier to tackle some of the games that don't have save features. And it looks great on my HDTV, with several options to tweak the game's appearance.

I am glad this was reproduced to get more units to people. The NES classic has been a lot of fun but the problem still exists where the controller cable is too short. This system has given me the chance to play games I never played back in the day like Ninja Gaiden and has been a lot of fun to own. I know the same or better result could be achieved through a rasberry pi and an emulator, but there is is something to be said about having a system like this in my living room licensed by Nintendo.

This thing really takes me back to my childhood. I also have the SNES Classic but nothing beats the original. While you could buy a knockoff with way more games, I wanted the real one for the nostalgia of it. I've added some additional games to it and it was super easy. The only reason it is only getting 4 stars is that there is only 1 controller & the controllers cord is ridiculously short. The controllers from the SNES Classic do work if you want to use them. Overall I'm super happy with it.

Like so many others, being in my 40's now, I grew up with the original NES as a kid and teenager back in the 80's.. I forgot how great these games really were.. The HDMI connection makes the graphics more clear and brilliant than has ever been before. For $60 you can't beat this deal.. Get it, you won't regret it...

I managed to see this and knew i had to get it. What makes this unique is that this mini console already has built in games from the nintendo entertainment system ( meaning no need to download them yourselves from the eshop ) if one game may not be your cup of tea . more likely you will find one later down the road .

It gave me a real flashback to my childhood. Playing these NES games on my big screen took me back to a simpler time and actually made me feel at peace. The only thing wrong is that the controller is too small for me to play for long periods of time. This was one of the best purchaes I made this year.

I bought this for my mother-in-law. She has all the old systems and was looking for something that would be easier to access and do on one system. This really works for her. The only negative is the one controller issue. I really wish Nintendo would stop playing this game of putting only one controller in the box.

Great product, loaded with great games. Controller needs to have a longer cord then 3 feet, but that is my only complaint.

The Nintendo - Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition takes me back to a simpler time, where video games were not as complicated, but still just as fun! And being able to share the original Nintendo with my nephews and nieces and showing them all the secrets I learned as a kid makes it that much more fun!

Solid console, easy to use. Controller cords not nearly long enough without extensions.

Love this little retro piece, brings back a lot of memories of playing these games at home and at th arcade. Introducing my sons to the origin of Mario and Luigi and my gaming past is pretty great. My only gripe is the cable shortness of the controller. Solved by buying the insignia extra controller. Recommended!

Bought this little Nintendo classic for fun and to give it a shot since it wasnt sold out anymore. I had to buy some cord extenders from amazon as the initial cord is pretty short. (Stay away from wireless adapters, it lags) i played some mario and pacman but I dont remember half the games being the way they were. Ie: donkey kong games are weird and def not what I remember when I was a kid. Overall, its a cool thing to have to bring back memories as a kid playing on the original.

Feels like its 1990 all over again! For $60 this is a great deal. With no HDMI connection you can set this up to any modern TV. Only con is the controller cord is super short. Google adding roms to your classic NES on YouTube. There's tutorials that will show you how to add any rom you want to your NES for free.

Some of the best NES games in one small package. If you grew up with the NES, it'll feel like old times. If you're a bit younger, this is a great item to experience the beginnings of some of the best series in gaming today. *Note, the cord for the controller is very short, an extender is recommended.

I've applied my $20 gift certificate on and only got this for $42 as a nice Christmas gift to myself. It's very nice to have an official Nintendo product in my apartment. I love to have an authentic experience from Nintendo. 5 stars for presentation and quality. I just wish the cord was longer.

The NES classic is awesome. Games were so much harder back in the day compared to now. It comes with 30 preinstalled games that will definitely take any 80's baby back to their childhood! The included controller feels good in the hands and the buttons respond perfectly. A great gift to any gamer out there!
