What an idea! Bring back our most beloved video games of all time and put them in one retro console. You get all the hits, Super Mario 1, 2 and 3, Ninja Gaiden, Zelda, Dr Mario, etc... I highly recommend this console if you spent countless hours playing these games as a kid, it will be fun to go there again.

Has a great assortment of classic NES games but the short controller cables are a bit of a let down.

This is a mini old school game system without the hassle of having to blow on the discs before inserting them into the console. The cords are way to short on the remotes though and it only comes with one. The wireless ones aren't great because they freeze up while playing. Had my fav games included and breaks back childhood memories!

This is a great way to get exposed to games that are hard to find or too expensive to own. The value of this game is great and worth the buy. The controller wire length is short, so unless the distance between you and the system are close, I recommend to also get an extender.

I picked this up when they had some back in stock and I’m glad I did, immediately takes you back when you played as a kid, runs smooth controllers are good, the only thing I had a problem with is the cords for the controllers are way to short and you have to push reset every time you want to play a new game.

First off I'm not here to bash the NINTENDO CLASSIC because of lack of inventory like most other reviewers, they are just mad they didn't get one. As a whole this thing is just plain cool! It looks just like the original NES. The speed and quality of the games is far better then other "emulator" type systems. The MSRP of $59.99 is actually quite a bit higher in comparison ( ie Sega Genesis or Atarti retro 7 both priced around $45), they give 2 controlllers (Genesis are wireless!) and more games. The second controller for the NINTENDO is $9.99. Since the cords for the controller's are very short ( about 30 inches), you need to purchase extension cords that are another $10. So once is all said and done you need to spend another $30 over the $59.99 to have to reasonably usable controller's. Is it worth it? DEFINITELY! Is it frustrating? DEFINITELY! However, this is a must have item for anyone who had the original NES as a kid. The 30 games it comes with are great, but no way to expand or download more. So for those lucky enough to get one, enjoy, everyone else, don't worry, Its not a limited production run. They will be plentiful everywhere in a couple months.

Games are as expected and as remembered. I would have liked two controllers, but not enough to gripe. Would recommend getting a long hdmi cable, and a battery power pack to run the system. That would eliminate one of the wires to the wall. The short controller wire is great to reach for the reset button easily to select another game.

Great system & choice of games. Brings flash back memories. I feel like a kid listening to the epic sound tracks from each & every game. System es well done looks great & is well build. Remote looks & feels like the original from the 80’s.

Great product from Nintendo it brings back my child-hood memories of being young as a kid being my first console from back in the days. Brings back good old memories and awesome selection of games all in one mini gaming console. A Classic never gets old.

While this is far from perfect, this is a great plug and play method of introducing the classics of the NES era to a new generation. Yes, some games are notably absent (like Castlevania 3), and it only comes with one controller, and the controller cables are too short, but this is still a worthwhile purchase.

This classic game console is a great buy for the price. However the short controller cord is so stupid of Nintendo.

I've been waiting so long to find this at its original price. There was no way I was paying someone 2-3 times the price on the secondary market. Great machine, has all the classics and some, and the instant save point is awesome! It gives you a better chance at beating those tough level, (Mario 3, level 8)

Great product, great value. Short controller cables are easily remedied by a longer HDMI cable - I like having the system closer because you use the reset button on it to access the main menu. He emulation isn't 100% perfect but it's close enough to enjoy all of these games. Save states are a wonder to have.

I honestly purchased this for my husband and I, but all three kids have greatly enjoyed it as well. It has so many of the classic games that brought back so many memories. My only complaint is the system come with 1 remote and the cord is pretty short. Extra controls and extensions can be purchased though for a reasonable price.

Wish there weren't the black bars when playing the game, but it's a perfect way to bring back some wonderful memories.

If you're looking for that nostalgic feeling you'll definitely find it here. Playing all the games from my youth took me back to those days where you wanted to finish what you started. I remember playing Super Mario Brothers in a single attempt. That didn't happen this time but that's my current goal. If you can find one, buy one!

Not only does this look great when displayed, playing on it is a fun experience, even with its biggest fault: the length of the controller cables. There are multiple ways to deal with this that have been documented all over, but it does suck a little that they didn't make the cables longer and have a way to access the menu from the controller right out of the box (you have to walk over to the unit and press the reset button). That said, despite this issue I love this thing.

I have nothing but great things to say about the NES. I waited in line to get this for my husband for Christmas and he loved it! It was worth waiting for! He plays most of the games but his favorites are the old school mario bro. games which he plays everyday. I would recommend this for anyone and you just can't beat the price.
