It’s a gift card for those who can’t think of a present and don’t want to just give cash! Why can you not just buy a game and not have to put money in a Nintendo account?

I bought this card and it’s the 2nd time I’ve scratched off part of the code when gently using a coin to reveal the code It’s been 2 weeks and still waiting to hear back from Nintendo to get a new code

My kid scratched the code area before I could get to it. Apparently scratched too hard and now the code is unreadable. Jumping through hoops with Nintendo to provide a new code so it can be used

I like to buy a lot of Xbox, PSN and Nintendo eShop cards, but for some reason my best buy coupon didn't let me ship this item with the rest of my order, but it did work for the Xbox and psn cards. Fix this best buy

i got this gift card with high hopes but the poor quality showed itself immediately i scratched the poor quality print code off now i do not know my code

Sent me a card that would not work and would not give me a new one to replace it.

Son scratched off to get the code and the code scratched off too. He had to call twice and submit all kinds of proof of purchase. It still isn't resolved I don't think. Very very annoying.

Gift card made out of cardboard. When my grandson tried to scratch off back to get code, the cardboard came right off and was ruined. I was told by Best Buy to contact Nintendo.

So the card I bought didn't work, they failed to activate it and at that point could do nothing about it, I had to call Nintendo and go through a whole song and dance to get it to work.

When I enter the code into my Nintendo account it says the code isn’t recognized!? It wasn’t scratched before I used it too.

Was very frustrated to learn this gift card was already redeemed. And unfortunately can do nothing about it... Best Buy should do a better job securing their gift card display.

Purchases are NOT linked to the console, only to the account. So you CAN'T SHARE purchases with separate accounts using the same console.

So disappointed, purchased for a kid, it must have been a defected card because the scratch box smeared and took off the code.

Bad experience with purchase . No help from Nintendo but Best Buy did step in to resolve issue. Trust me the card is not worth the headache .

When scratching off the back to reveal the code, the numbers were also scratched off so the code couldn’t be read.

Never got to use it… when we scratched it off, you couldn’t make out the code to use the card.
