Safe alternative to storing credit card info on co

I do this because I don't trust Nintendo (and Sony for that matter) with my credit card account details. The $10 denomination is a decent amount to buy for NY nephew who sometimes asks me to buy him Vbucks. It's also a lot safer that putting my credit card info on file and then have him go on a spending spree. Next thing I know I'm $500 porer because he was opening card packs on FIFA or something.
