I've been buying gift cards for Nintendo consoles for a while now, ever since the Wii era. I do this because I don't trust Nintendo (and Sony for that matter) with my credit card account details. The $10 denomination is a decent amount to buy for NY nephew who sometimes asks me to buy him Vbucks. It's also a lot safer that putting my credit card info on file and then have him go on a spending spree. Next thing I know I'm $500 porer because he was opening card packs on FIFA or something.

Very useful super convenient, and if you're trying to get something small, you don't have to go the extra mile and pay an extra five dollars for a ten dollar gift card. Would definitely recommend

Ive always purchased the physical versions of tge card if im out and about and in need of some of tgat eshop moolah but tgis tjme around i was in a pinch with a sale expiring so i opted to buy one throigh bestbuys site expecting the download code to show up in my email as wuick as the purchase confirmation email showed up. Not the case. It took hours before it showed up and based on the fine print youre supposed to give them somehwere between 1-2 days if memory serves me right. Not what i would expect with sometging digital bit i dont know how the process works so im not going to complain about it, just want to gove someone else a heads up not to expect tge funds rigjt away. From here on out ill be better prepared and grab a physical card when in in store instead of relying on the download code to be sent my way.
