Like many children these days, my son is really into video games. With everything headed to digital-only releases, more and more I find myself having to trust multiple companies with my payment information. Maybe I'm a little paranoid, but I prefer to keep that information out of as many databases as possible. These gift cards are the best way, in my opinion, to still provide your children (or yourself) with entertainment without putting your financial information in Nintendo's database.

Great way to add money if you dont want to link a credit card to your nintendo account. Got the code emailed in a few hours and was able to add the funds to my account and purchase Metroid Dread on launch day so i could play it asap and do a review of the game without wasting time going to the store or waiting for a game to be shipped to me. (especially since wally-world took a week longer for the game I pre-ordered to actually arrive.

Beforehand I had never purchased a gift card in digital form, but it is super convenient. No need to leave my house and better for the environment where there is no physical garbage left behind to throw in a dump.

As a great rick once said, we can all buy those fancy 3DS' and flipped them on ebay. We can also keep one after, so go buy more Nintendo stuff! Nintendo give me free stuff!

The entire point of digital products is so I don’t have to leave my home especially with everything going on today. The best part is the denomination for eShop cards are as little as $5! I only needed that much for a game I wanted to buy from the eShop.
