Definitely useful and light. It should cost a bit less but I know that's not on Best buy. I use my pro controller to play most games but when you play multiplayer with friends there can be a lot of complaining since they don't have a full controller. I have 2 of these now just in case.

What's not to like? The joy-cons slip right on and the included cable plugs into the back of the switch's dock. The only mystery is: why didn't the switch ship with one of these?

My child almost always forgets to put his joy-con controllers on the charging station. We keep this plugged in and those times that the joy-cons are out of juice, he is able to grab this and continue playing.

I bought this model for a second set of joy cons. I love that you can charge the controllers right off of this unit instead of substituting the original joy cons attached to the console to charge.

You need another charger if you get another controller

Had to get this since the original grip doesn't charge your controllers. Don't know why anyone wouldn't buy this. It makes playing while charging easier, as if it were a standard controller like Xbox or PS4. Worth it.

It’s so much easier to have controllers charged with this product. It plugs directly into a USB port like a phone. And it holds a charge for a long time, which is super convenient.

Decided to pick this up after I had some friends over and my joy-cons were dead. Thought this would be nice to have in case we needed to play and charge. Simple to use, has a battery charge. Pretty neat.

Excellent product. I didn't have any chargers for my joycons. Now I can not only play with a more complete controller but also charge my joy-cons!

I thought this had a battery pack in it that would recharge the joy-cons while playing. It does NOT have any battery. It only works when it’s directly plugged into the power cord, so basically it’s an overpriced piece of plastic.

I use this unit everyday because I can play a charge and play everyday with no hassle. Thank You Nintendo and Best Buy for having it! I'm a HAPPY CAMPER!!

Great price for a controller grip that's also able to charges controllers either while playing or idle. I bought two of them very convenient to have gives the unit more capabilities and comfortable to use.

Bought this for my nephew as a gift and he loves it

I like the option of being able to add extra remotes to my Nintendo switch. I love this remote because you can charge the remotes separately vs. Reotating them on the Nintendo switch.

Nice to give handgrips to the joycon controllers. This one also allows for charging of the Joycon controllers.

The Nintendo Joy con charging grip is a great product extending the life of the joy cons. I wish they would make this a standard that comes with the Nintendo Switch.
