I definitely recommend this if you just have two other joycons that you would like to charge. Other charging docks require four and i think that’s a little much when you already can charge two when they are connected to the switch.

Amazing that the Joy Con grip that comes with the switch does not have a port to plug in to charge. This one does. Otherwise it works identical to the one that comes in Switch package.

This grip is exactly like the one that comes with the switch, except it has the ability to charge the joy-cons using a USB-C cable. Feels great in the hands, and charges pretty quickly from what I can tell.

This is the JoyCon grip that should have shipped with the Switch. The pricing for additional JoyCons and accessories are ridiculously high. Nintendo should be ashamed. But these little controllers pack a lot of tech in them. Still, this adapter should have been free, it doesn't do much to justify the price.

This basically allows you to use and charge your Joycons while playing a docked system. It is not an external battery that holds a charge. You must be tethered. For that purpose, it's good. High quality, all that stuff. Minus one star for the fact that that's really the only useful situation I can think of for it.

This is the perfect charging grip to be able to use while also being able to play at the same time. Perfect for when you have people over and you want to paly for a long time.

This works exactly as you would expect. You can put the two small controllers together and play with a big controller while simultaneously charging them. My only complaint is that this seems like something that should be included when you buy the system, rather than an additional accessory to have to purchase.

Needed another one so I wasn’t dragging the original between houses and this was perfect. Works just like the original

I've been quite impressed with the battery life on the Joy-Con charging grip. You charge the charger which then charges the Joy-Con controllers and they last for a long time.

So, this makes the two joycons work really well as one. It feels great. This, unlike the one that comes with the switch, has a charging capability as well though. Totally worth it!

Didn’t realize that the switch comes with a non charging version of this. Been using the charge version as the convenience is nice.

Good to have if you have a spare set of Joycons. You can use the other set undocked (mobile) while these charge at home through the USB. Plus its an extra grip for 2 player couch games.

We bought these in addition to a charging dock but it keeps the controllers charged which is great for when my kids forget to charge them!

It is the same grip that comes with the switch console with the addition of charging. I personally haven't had much of a use with it since the battery life of the joycons are great and plugging them back into the console after playing has meant i've never had an issue with need to charge them while playing.

I bought an extra pair of hoy con controller and decided to get this grip controller and it works great! It’s a little awkward but it’s easy to get used to.

This remote is better than the original grip remote because it allows you the option to charge the remotes directly from the grip with a cable as though its wired remote.

This is way better than the original non charging grip that comes with the Nintendo switch which in my opinion should come with the switch when you buy it anyway

Nothing to say really except that this is the controller frame that should have come with the switch. Play and charge is basically essential with wireless controllers and this works great.

This is the joy con grip that should be included with the switch. It's the same as the one that is but will also charge the joy cons. Works great.

Although the switch comes with a handle grip, it does not charge. So having a chargeable charging grip is convenient if you have a extra set of remotes.
