I was informed to use this product if the gamer planned to play on the tv and dock the system

It's definitely better than the Joycon that comes with the Switch because this one actually charges the controllers whereas the Joycon that comes with the Switch is just a plastic shell with no charging capabilities. I'll grab a 2nd one of these for the kids and put the original away (in case it's ever needed again) It's short money for the charging upgrade with this. It can be used while plugged in too.

It does everything as described. Feels just like the normal joycon grip that comes with the system but you can plug it in to charge.

Perfect for my joycons. I was worried about the charging of my joycons but I also bought the controller dock and just keep my controllers charged.

This is AWESOME and exactly like the Joy Con Grip that comes with the Nintendo Switch except you can attach 2 extra Joy Cons and plug this in to charge them. AWESOME!

I purchased this with the controller pack; I really don't see why this is included with it. Nintendo will squeeze you for money any way they can I guess. Works as advertised, just kinda expensive for what it is.

Very easy to use when your controllers get low on juice. Comes with a cable to link with the system so you can continue playing.

We were going to get the regular grip but this one makes it easier to still play while charging rather than waiting for them to charge.

This controller plays just like the one that comes with the switch however it will charge while you continue to play which can be very handy. would definitely recommend

If you primarily use your Nintendo Switch connected to a TV then this comes in handy. Being able to charge directly from the Joy Con charging grip makes things so much easier!
