These are good for on the go charging and to keep you going for hours when docked. We returned them for the much cheaper option without the battery because we rarely run out of juice while playing.

It’s a great product, works as it should, what bothers me is that now the grip come with the switch is totally useless, I don’t think the charging circuit board inside will cost more than 5 dollars to make, but Nintendo choose to save it on each console they sold.

Ergonomic controller for the Switch which allows simultaneous charging. Would recommend getting longer charging cable since the one that comes with it is too short.

I was surprised to see the grip that comes with the console did not have the charging port built in. Love being able to keep my second set of controllers charged at all times

It's a bit of a shame that this costs so much, since it doesn't even have an internal battery, but it does work exactly as advertised and is comfortable the whole time.

I consider this to be an essential for the Switch. If you have the awesome Pro controller maybe not. However, this is the next beat thing.

I knew I would need this. I have 2 sets of joy cons and it's nice to be able to have one set charging on the handheld and the other charging on this. No downtime.

This product made the Switch controllers feel more comfortable. Almost reminded me of the Nintendo 64 controller!

If you're unable to get the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, this does the job. I wouldn't say it is as comfortable as the Pro Controller, but gives you a good controller feeling as opposed to having 2 separate JoyCons in your hands when you're used to a controller.

Bought this as a gift for my son. He is thrilled with it. Says its excellent! Mom finally got it right!
