You could argue that this should come with the game system. You will want this add on. It is worth it for continuous untethered game play.

This is an accessory that should have been included in the box with the Switch itself. It does exactly what it advertises to do, it's just a shame you have to buy it separately.

Wish it was a little cheaper, but it even comes with a USB-C charger that works for the Switch too. So for that, I'd say it's a necessity.

It actually comes in handy for different games, but my kids really don’t use it.

The other controller types were not chargeable. This one is perfect! Kids play for hours!

We bought extra controllers for the switch, but couldn’t really use them without this center attachment.

This attachment, not only should be included with the console at purchase, but it is completely self defeating in that the charge cable that comes with it is incredibly short. The point of this attachment should be to help avoid the interruption of play due to a controller battery dying. Additionally the joy cons used outside of being attached to the console are far better set to be held individually in each hand. The console comes with a non charging grip like this that just as useful because no one wants to sit 2 feet from their tv to play. Don't waste your money, save an extra $40 and buy a pro controller.

Works as advertised. My nephew sure loves it. Uses it all the time and he’s not gentle. Well made product.
