Looks and feels just like the original. Plays great, but the cord is REALLY short. You've probably already heard how short it is, and yes, it's as short as they say. Consider an extension cable if you sit further from your TV or monitor.

You will want one of these to go along with your nes classic mini. As others have commented the cord is way too short. Make sure you pick up an extension

I got me an extra controller just in case I play too much with the one that came with the system. If you want to play a two players game you will need it.

If you get the Nintendo you absolutely have to get two controllers. It gets competitive quick. Highly recommend a wirless controller or an extended cord.

Perfect when you need a second controller to play with someone. The only downside is the short wire. Other than that, it does what it is intended to do.

Was finally able to get an extra control. I have had the NES classic since release but needed another control. The control is great, just like I remember!

This is a must have in order to get the most out of your NES classic system. It enables multiplayer modes and multiplies enjoyment. Can't go wrong.

No issues so far other than the short cord (But 2-pack extension adapters are available for cheap). At the time of my purchase it was the same price to buy the real Nintendo controller as buying an off brand one - easy choice!

A great addition to the console to share with the family. It's always great to be able to enjoy some throwback gaming with others. Worth the price.

This is the official controller for the nes classic. It’s unfortunate the system only comes with one controller but this controller works great.

This is where it all started. This little gizmo has all the games that I remember from my teenage years. My children can now enjoy the classics and really appreciate all the advancements for the games that they have today. It’s really funny to see them play classic Super Mario Bros, Donkey King, PacMan, Punch Out.. And then go to the new Xbox One and play Battlefield 1, Halo and Titanfall. It’s all good.

Nothing beats the original. I know there are good knock-offs out there, but Nintendos controllers can’t be beat. I only wish it the cord was longer.

This controller works great with my Nintendo Classic and gives me the opportunity to play 2 player games now. Deducted one star for cord being too short but that even goes for the controller that comes with the Nintendo Classic.

The controller that comes with the NES Classic is great unless you have a friend, kid or spouse because they will want to use it. Buy this one so you can both play.

A must have accessory for the NES Nintendo. The system only comes with one controller, and lets be honest... Nobody truly likes to play alone.

Just as good as the one you get but you need to get it as you need two controllers. Wish they came with two but I get it..making money is key!!

Despite the short cord, this controller is a 99 9% faithful recreation of the nes controller from the 80s! A must have for any nes classic owner!

This works perfectly. I don't understand why the length of the cables is so short. Seems like it's just an upsell to get the extenders, but why not just make them the right length in the first place and charge a little more?
