    The nes only comes with one controller so of course you need a 2nd controller for the 2 player games.

    Just like the old controller I remember. However, the cord is very short. Also, I forgot how much it hurt against your hand as opposed to newer more comfortable designs.

    Wireless would be sweet too, but with todays big TV's, you need the 6' extensions to enjoy the NES Classic (only comes with 1 controller so don't forget the extra one!)

    if you can find it buy it, you always can use extras, it's so cheap at 9.99 but impossible to find.

    Previously I purchased an imitation NES controller but the buttons didn't work correctly and the directional cross was spongy and didn't work accurately. The authentic controller that I purchased from Best Buy worked liked the original (when I was a young young kid), and it works like it supposed to with accurate tactile responses..
