The NES classic controllers are built with good quality. However it is unfortunate that this needs to be a separate purchase. I wish it came with the console initially.

This Nintendo - NES Controller for Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition is my 2nd one since i have to play with family and friends.

Love this product. Just like the original. My nalstalgia cranked up with this came out with the mini NES. This is a must if you have a mini NES.

It does suck they dont include a second controller with the actual system. However when this was sitting on the shelf I had to pick it up

This is an additional controller, Its classic I'll say that. However main complaint is that it has a super short cord. Got an extension but meh, shouldn't have to spend $20 to have a long cord.

This ones sitting on my shelf as part of my collection. I haven’t used it and don’t plan on ever opening it. Pretty stupid, huh?

Nothing compares to an original Nintendo controller. Do not pay more than $11 dls. shipped. It would be perfect to have them always in stock.

There are usually more than one player in the house who wants to play a game or two, so it was important for us to get the second controller.

This controller looks and feels like you remember, but for some reason, Nintendo only included what seems to be a 3 ft. cord on these so you have to either get an extension cable or sit extremely close to your television.

Just like what I remember. A lot of the system games are one player only, but for those that are two player you'll need to get one of these!

Everything about this 1st party NES Classic controller looks great. Unfortunately the controller quality didn’t feel nearly as solid as the one that came with my NES Classic. The D-pad was stiff and just didn’t respond as well as I’d expect. I’d have gone with a 3rd party controller with a longer cord and other features had I known this is what Nintendo is currently producing. I suggest hanging onto your receipt and trying out the controller immediately if you insist on buying one of these.

Not sure what Nintendo was thinking with the length of cord on these controllers. Other than that they function properly.

This allows me and my daughter to play great child appropriate games while allowing me to remember my childhood! Great system.

Needed a 2nd controller and this one is the same as the one that came with the game. Same cable length and works/feels identical.

If you don't want to use the Wii Class Controller to play NES Classic games, then this is the option for nostalgia and to complete the set.

I just have 1 complaint on the controllers. The cord is too short. You have to buy the cord extension cords. The regular controllers only have like a ft-ft and a half length. The extension cords add about 3-4 feet.

Same as original BUT it's really annoying that NES is doing this sporadic rollout so we can't just buy the controllers at the same time that we're buying the system. If it weren't for that, I'd give them 5 stars.

Seems silly Nintendo didn't include two controllers with the Nintendo Classic, at least they fixed that for the Super Nintendo Classic. The wireless controllers are OK but nostalgia requires you to get a wired one!

I wish I could play fighting games with this god tier D-pad, it feels great to be able to play Super Mario 3 again with the controller it was meant for!
